The next morning, they hop back into bed to plan a fun Anniversary Day on Sunday. Nanny managed to plant all her flowers very early on Thursday trying to beat the heat! ❤️

Oh Nanny! Happy Anniversary!! I absolutely loved this video. How important it is for all us who are married to reminisce from time to time about our wedding day. You and Moose are just the sweetest couple! And I could so relate when you decided to celebrate your anniversary at home. Ted and I have done that for a number of years now and it’s been so delightful sitting together at our kitchen table by candlelight and enjoying some goodies we don’t normally get a chance to eat. You and your husband remind me so much of my first marriage. My father in law had said that our marriage was made in heaven and it was. In 13 years, we had 5 disagreements. He passed away at 37 from a heart condition that I knew he had when we got married. When I watch the two of you I know that you are now what we would have been if he had not passed away. I am remarried, 28 years to date, life goes on. It's been a roller coaster merging a family but I still can't help but wonder where life would have taken us had my first love lived to now. It would have been 42 years. Thanks for the great video.

@@crushingtheir80snannyandmoose My present husband and I have for sure but we were destined to be together like two wheels rubbing together to get the burrs off haha! I think that in order to make it, you sort of have to! My first husband I spoke of was very passive due to the fact that he learned how to not get himself upset due to his heart condition. By the way I am so happy to hear that you have butt heads because that's reality!

Did you do a video of Nanny’s wheelchair. I need to buy one as walking is so difficult for me. If I can lift it to put in my vehicle, I will be fine.

I’m going to check to see if you did a video of the wheel chair. The hospital in SC will pay for it for me. If I have the name where you bought Moosie’s I can ask they purchase from them. This could be what I need to get out of the house and enjoy life. It’s been 4 plus years since I’ve been in a store. I order e very thing I need. Have a blessed Sunday together! On my wedding day, my Mother refused to help me with my gown and veil and although I have forgiven her, I haven't forgotten. Well, Happy Anniversary! 63 years is a very long time. Our middle child Sarah was born on July 14,1975. We are taking her and her husband to lunch today. I either bake her favorite cake or order an ice cream cake. They have plans plans for this afternoon with their best friend so I normally bake her a favorite cake or get her an ice cream cake . It seems dreadful to make one that she has to drag around with them for the whole rest of the day. Even worse would be an ice cream cake that won't melt, so the cake will wait. What a wonderful salute to a precious family. What a treat!

Happy Anniversary! A night at home with a great meal sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate! Loved seeing the pictures. You were beautiful then and now and Moosie is just as handsome as ever! A funny story on my wedding day... The night before the wedding one of the groomsmen had a little too much to drink, so he slept in and grabbed a Twinkie for breakfast then headed to the church that was not air conditioned. It was a hot day in July and during the ceremony he excused himself and went into the vestibule and got sick. A woman jumped up and ran to his rescue. Someone asked her later how she could do this, and she proceeded to share it was her son - only a mother could do that. I never knew any of this and didn't find out until after the wedding. The funny stories are always great to look back and reminisce. I've been divorced for many years, but it's always fun to think about the day and how much we enjoyed spending time with family and friends. xoxo
