I've just bought an ex-British gas caddy simply so I can sleep in the back and go adventuring etc. What I didn't realise is just how big the Caddy Maxi camper conversion scene is, so looks like I'll be undertaking a full on conversion at some point! Thanks for the videos.

I don't get it 🤷. Surely all it is is a button that disconnects the battery? Just like removing the +lead off the battery?
I guess yeah, cuts the battery out of it's getting drained. Stops it going flat if you left the lights on etc.
Was inside the van and couldn't get out because of the immobilizer, had to get someone to lift up the bonnet and turn it off 🤣🤣🤣

@@willsvanadventures I have no idea. I guess just get rid of it, I'll take it somewhere and have it out there as I'll probably blow it up knowing my luck 🤣 there's bound to be a way to open the side doors from the inside with the outside being locked tho 🤔 I don't know
@@LewysCole7 ok yh I see. I'd deffo keep it in personally as you never get a flat battery. But is weird that the doors lock on the inside. Maybe something's been changed ?

Hey, yeah so you can change it via the vcds software. Just activate which ones you want to see.

@willsvanadventures yh to be honest I'm mot sure if it was even a work van as there was no to little evidence that the back had been used
ah ok, that might be why, is it ex British gas? As they are the ones that typically have the extra battery isolator fitted. @@Matthew-hs1qi
