@@TheIndomitableSnowman imo even the lesser armor is worth a ton. I know you struggled already with the recent fight, but they all had padded surcoats which would have been a decent upgrade. My comment was written while I did not finished the episode. You had no knifes equipped for the devastating fight you almost lost. I am looking forward for the brigand fights. Keep up your entertaining uploads!
@@ShatteringSword Lesser armour isn't worth much in gold, but stacking a bunch of lesser armours and salvaging them for tools makes them worth a bit more.
To be honest, min/maxing is tiresome and a bit boring (especially to watch) so I don't try to min/max everything. (Of course, stealing every armour and weapon you can get is best, but yeah, daggering down everyone is a lot of effort)
We'll still try to dagger down where it seems possible (and when I don't forget) but glad you're enjoying the vids and we'll have to show those brigands who's boss lol!
@@TheIndomitableSnowman Yeah, in the end it's about enjoyment and playing as optimally as you can usually ends up being repetitive in a bad way

I like memes from time to time, but this feels too much and sometimes too try-hard for my liking. I think cutting down to 1/4 and keep the best ones would be the best.
Also the white notes might work much better at the bottle of the screen instead of right in the middle where they block the view.

The way I catch running archers is with dogs.
That is definitely a nice way to do it (hopefully without their melee 'friends' around to stop you haha)

I'unno. I feel like buying some cheap sacrifices a few days or so before the safety period ends is worth it compared to having one of your expensive and useful mercs being sacrificed, even if they run away afterwards. That's like... 200-400 investment every 15 days? That's not that much, especially considering some of the better beginner mercs can cost around 500 crowns to hire + all the money invested into try-outs.
Keeping non-convertables sacrifices is good, as wasting bros, conversions & candles hurts in the long run imo.
But for the fun of the series, I did consider not using sacrifices :)

I do believe the sacrifice event has a larger chance of hapenning in the wilderness away from roads.
The sacrifice event happens regardless of your position on the map, but it sure seems like the game is torturing us for hanging around taverns haha :)

Yes... the game is always pitched against you in some way. But that doesn't mean it doesn't reward strategy, tactics and good decisions/management.
In some areas the game can be pitched in your favour.

is it viable to use obliviom potions to remove student and gifted to add better skills when your brothers are at max levelm
Technically that strategy can work, but the oblivion potion is rather hard and tedious to craft. (needing to kill several hard monsters, including the kraken)
If you can reliably create them, then by all means you can use them to get a couple 'free' stats from over-writing gifted and student.
But imho, not worth the time/effort.
You can convert any background if they have brain damage
Yes, that is true, but there are definite risks for getting brain damage lol (even the alcohol method is rough)
I'd mainly use it in desperate circumstances, like shieldmaidens :)

Why not just by slaves for sacrifices? They coast only food.
Ahh, the reason why I don't like using indebted/cripples/etc. is because they can be converted.
Converting a 'sacrifice' is quite the waste when you have better bros you'd like to use the conversions on.
That's why I like using monks, nuns and servants :) (can't be converted and they're all quite cheap)
