Very informative I have been watching your CZcams channel for 7 years ,you helped me get into the hobby 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you this helps me.
Glad it helped!
I didn't have any issues updating my Integra using DJI Assistant 2 at all. Just plugged it in, it found it and I updated firmware without any problem. I guess that might be a wrong USB cable used...also using the latest firmware, it supports all drones...
Great video, although I actually prefer the 5way joystick on the Integra over the touchPad on the Goggles 2.
Good morning from Long Island NY Love the videos I am just getting into fpv drones because I like electronics and building things. I did buy the avaita when it came out I flew it once and put it up for sale less the remote and goggles 2. I am still learning in a few sims never flown a real quad just dji as of yet but have built about 5 drones and sold them Mostly just looking at a bnf and getting the parts building it and flashing the factory cli files and setting them up. Lol I am waiting for the weather to warm up a bit. I am building a race quad with the supernovas that will sit till I feel I can fly it. I got a lot of info from your channel Thank you and you guys enjoy your holidays Godspeed
Hey there Justin! Another good video. I wasn't early adopter to the goggles 2. When the 03 system came out I purchased one and retrofitted it on to my baby hawk 2 HD. I love love loved it. Until I had a nasty crash, but fortunately All of the guts still work perfectly. Contacted EMAX customer support to find out what parts I needed to buy to build a baby hawk '03. The camera mount and the rear antenna TPUs are the only thing that you can't buy directly from EMAX, but they did send me the STL files which I sent to bring 3D. $5 a piece. Freaking awesome. Had a red and black made of each. So my baby hawk '03 is a little different because I have a red camera canopy! All I can say about this drone is smooth as buttaaaa
One other thing is have you had the itch to buy a new DJI camera drone like the mini 4 pro to be able to try head tracking and be able to fly those camera drones with our goggles. I'm curious but probably not enough to buy one lol this hobby will drain the bank account quick lol Happy flying!
What i understand Goggles 2 and integra with firmware update are now compatible with air 3 and mini 4 and their both dji 04 .
I got my Integra 3 months ago to replace my v1 goggles, what I like about this one is the OSD support for OG air unit's and vista's
The goggles Now work with the Mini4 pro.(after firmware update), I just wish they would make some very adjustable versions, for those of us that wear glasses.
Thanks for the comparison. Folgers classic roast in my cup, I know I know !
Haha man it’s all good! Welcome to the round table ☕️☕️☕️☕️
@Drone Camps - 👍👍 Glad you're candid/honest about Goliath DJI. I've got a love-hate relationship with DJI after buying the castrated low-transmission power CE non-OcuSync version of the Mini 1 back in 2019. From the gitgo it suffered horrible control/camera lag/latency problems in urban environments here in Thailand. The situation was/is so bad that the otherwise great flying little camera drone has been in its case mostly for the past 3 years.
So what did I do recently? I'm glad you asked. I just bought an overpriced CE version Mini 4 Pro! Why? Because there's simply no compelling competition, especially here in _CE drone Hell_ Thailand. OcuSync 4 was the deciding factor and seems to cure all the signal demons that plagued my Mini 1.
And now I'm considering Goggles 2 because it has individual diopter adjustments. I tried on a pair at the mall and they were great. As they're still freakin' severely overpriced maybe I'll wait until the upcoming O4 Goggles hit the store shelves next year. Decisions, Decisions!
_Merry Christmas_ from Thailand and just subscribed!
Portland Coffee Roasters...Portland house blend. And thank you for the video. Also, I feel like DJI has become a necessary evil in this hobby. But that doesnt stop me from hoping someday a competitor will come along that can truly compete and give us all real options😎
Heck yeah we were just seeing that at Costco the other day. we bought that blend before and it’s pretty good! I may discredit myself, but we don’t do a lot of grinding, so we usually buy ground lol. 😂
Why is there not a zoom control for the camera on the motion controller?
Is it known what the max flight distance is with a mini 4 pro???
The title of your vid caught my eye--70 yo disabled vet looking into a first-ever headset. I gave it 9 minutes but I was looking for a succinct explanation of pro’s/cons of different headsets, what’s features may be appealing to some, issues of motion vertigo, etc. you do seem knowledgeable
The integra battery pack has 2 18650 3.7 volt batteries with a low capacity current. I wonder if they are replaceble with 2 other 18650 with higher capacity say 5000ma. Problem is they are point welded, but one can easy install two single battery holders that let you replace the batteries any time you want. You can also make a power entry connection socket for an external 7.2 volt battery like the sony camera batteries.
How many degrees does this lens show?
You can update the Integra Goggles with DJI Assistant 2 on your computer. But you have to download the newer "Consumer Drone Series" version. The "FPV Series" version won't work. Kind of confusing. Fly App sounds like a pain.
I'll probably wait for the O4 Googles and Air Units because I'm still on V2 and I know they won't add backward compatibility for them.
I have both. Neither version worked. Tried various cables. Nada. They would not connect.
Is latency the same on both…..I know it’s higher than V2. How’s the performance with wasp link?
does the Integra have any form of video in?
Awesome content! Honest story of a product with headaches. Gave me the info I needed to NOT buy the Integras, which I was considering.
Can the Integra Goggles be used with a normal RC2 controller (I have a Mini 3 Pro) or do you have to use the motion controllers?
Only way I found is to get the mini 3 pro in the air using the RC2 controller, then turn the goggles on.
Just received my integra’s this morning, great so far…
Enjoy it
@@dronecamps thanks for your informative videos, it’s been a steep learning curve getting into the fpv world
You’re welcome Leroy
What do you mean by “DJI Radio” [needed update]? You have the drone, goggles, and DJI App that needs update, so what are you referring to when you say “DJI Radio”?
Yeah..I was wondering the same. Radio ? What radio?
I have the HDzero goggles and not happy with the difficulty with updating them and the freestyle vtx. Had I had more information I would’ve bought the dji setup. I don’t race and that seems to be the only advantage over dji
I’ll wait and see what the next version does differently. I’m sure you will give us a review
What about the RID issue? With the Goggles 2 one has to be connected to a phone, but not so with the Integra. I've watched videos that once the drone takes off the phone connection is no longer needed. Is that correct, is it safe? How would the drone get the GPS signal? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!
I have the
goggles 2, and they don’t have to be connected to a phone to fly my quad.
I did that for a phantom sensor camera update. Wouldnt work on my mac. I bought a pc still didnt work. Went to a DJI shop and they did it free in 10 minutes
Im super stoked! I just bought the goggles 2 for $350
I just updated My Integra goggles yesterday with the DJI assistant app.... It worked perfectly
Not these!
@@dronecampsupdate to my previous comment, I also tried to update through my tablet/phone DJI app kept telling me to connect the drone and I had the drone turned on connected to the goggles and the goggles plugged in to the tablet and it was a complete nightmare..... So I turned the windows PC on with DJI assistant and plug just the goggles in and it updated the firmware just fine that way..... What a mess...
Yeah it was a thing 😂
It does work... The owner, for some reasons is I belive deleting my comments because I posted a link to my video of it upgrading through the DJI software
Never had Problems to Update Integra with DJI Consumer Drones on a Mac.
For me, I wouldn't get the integra just because of the lack of wifi, making not possible to watch movies nor play games with it. However, I'm more into the attached battery on the head from integra... so I guess I'll just wait till goggles 4 before buying my first fpv. Thanks for the video!
Would you recommend buying goggles 2 now? Im building my first drone with 03 but probably after o4 it all will be cheaper.
Yes I would buy the Goggles 2.
Damn. I just bought the DJI goggles 2. Didn’t know the 3 was coming out.
Curious to know why you think the Avata is trash? I saw a good bundle deal for under 900 and was going to buy it. Is there a comparable drone you recommend?
I never said it was trash.
See my video of the Geprc Cinebot25.
I purchased the version three. And it don’t connect to anything
Any updatea about the O4 released date??
Not yet ☝🏻✨
Mar. 14, 2024. I just ordered my Integra goggles from Amazon. $349. ?New goggles coming out soon? Maybe?
If u would of just put the goggles in diy mode just like the older goggles in the 03 mode you would of not went through all that headache same thing happened to me but then i remembered the v2 would do the same if not in air unit mode
Got mine on sale $429. Updated to the latest firmware on Assistant 2 for consumer drones no problem. Everything from DJI will frustrate you though. The software nonsense. They also like the googles 2 and v2 do not fit well out of the box. You will most likely need aftermarket foam. The new bee drone max comfort foam for DJI2 googles works pretty well for me.
We tried both versions of the assistant and various different USB-C cables, and nothing worked for connecting it to the software on the computer. We were forced to use the DJI fly app.
DJI stuff can be sooo frustrating sometimes! I feel your pain!@@dronecamps
the biggest drawback on the Integra from a long range pilot's view is that the antennas are not changeable!
there's no way to put on any patches or upgrade it in anyway, you're stuck with those stock antennas.
Tim Horton ☕️ I gotta get Goggle 2 ASAP. Before they go off sale. Lol
True. I think maybe a month or so before the new ones come out.
I wish I would have spent the extra $ in the beginning to get the Goggles 2.
I didn't think I would want to fly analog, but having to shell out 230 for an O3 each time is getting pricey.
you can always fly a caddx vista and that way it's not as pricey. they work with the integra. I have them on 3 of my quads.
@@mrmoon_fpv recently discovered this and will try it soon. What're the differences between caddx vista/nebula? Or do all caddx work with integra?
@@mrmoon_fpv do goggles 2 work with caddx vista ?
When is the giveaway video I watch everyday!
Within the next day or two
Goggles V2 best
Goggles 3 are on their way! Best to just wait
How do you know that speculations or you read something somewhere ?
The double standards
DJI getting grilled for putting a camera on the goggle while walksnail just put a led light on their goggle 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🍺
W A I T ! ! ! Why has NO ONE EVER done a COMPLETE review of Goggles Integra? Look it up. It's ALWAYS a comparison of G2 vs Integra or Goggles V2 vs. Integra. WHAT I NEED TO KNOW is Why is it if I'm shooting in DLOG starting from DJI RC and then lift off startup Goggles Integra and have to hit Record AGAIN but then I'm shooting in STANDARD color and NOT DLOG ONLY because I switched from DJI RC to Goggles Integra? I know most of you are just FPV people but for Christs sake, I paid $500 for Integra! I don't want to use the stupid little hand held thing to fly the drone, I want to use my thumbs on DJI RC!!! On the OLD WHITE BRICK goggles, I could put those on a friend BUT STILL BE ABLE to see through my phone where I was flying! This many years later and I have to CHOOSE either see thru the goggles OR see thru the RC........W T F !
Walksnail way better, DJI dead 💀 😂😂😂
It is clear to me your not a DJI fan. Sorry I have almost all DJI drones and are a big fan. Try to be not so negatief
Actually I am a Dji fan since 2013. I’m one of Dji’s oldest CZcams channels supporting millions of Dji customers so much that the first 5 years Dji was a company ; they gave people my Drone Camps 1-800 store number for tech support.
So yeah. I’m a Dji fan. Also one of their biggest tech support members and fans.
But always looking for the next big tech.
I am glad to hear that. The integra is working with my Air 3 and mini3 pro. I hope that it wil work with the mini 4 pro. I like to make video and racing is not for me. And yes I like not always the things DJI do. @@dronecamps
They’re sort of like Apple not making things readily backwards compatible.
In the video he mentions not being a hater, hes just being honest lol. Big companies should be held to a higher standard ;)
@@dronecampsthey also are the company the industry follows even if it's a bad thing. TBS fan boys are worse but dji fans are so abundant and will always listen to 1% of what you've said
This vid is labeled for 'a beginner'. I'm a beginner and have zero idea what you're talking about. No clue! Too much jargon, and too much assumption on your part that I/we as beginners all know and understand what you are saying. Sorry, I cannot finish watching this vid because it's of no value to me.
