I just finished reading Kobe Bryant's book The Mamba Mentality: How I Play and there's a few lessons in here I noticed that helped me find success in my trading career.
Great video James. You're completely right about being obsessed. I have been self employed all my life, and without being totally obsessed with your business you likely will not succeed. Applies to every business, and trading is no exception.
Man i discovered you yesterday, you already hit most of the points to be trusted as a real trader. With this video, as an retired basketball player talking about Kobe, my hero, and Free solo with Alex: you just scored it all. I paused the video for this comment, I'm getting back to it :) From a French guy, if you need a person to talk with to master French, reach out for me aha =)
James just want to let you know bro, you have a way of bringing and interpreting things outside of trading and applying it to trading. That wave concept from your previous videos still stick with me to this day. Thank you for continuing to educate noob traders like me 🙏
Bro, you've hit the nail on the head! I just adore obsessed people, but I can't direct my obsession in the right direction yet! I can't bring myself to do what needs to be done. Thanks for the feedback!
Tell me how i have just recently started watching Kobe interviews and videos to try and approach trading just how Kobe approached basketball and you just dropped this. Blows my mind.
Great video James It is truly inspiring and funny in a way because my name happens to be James Jiro Watanabe. Growing up in the Philadelphia area my good friend Jon Street used to bartend at the Kobe Steakhouse in Valley Forge. He said Joe Bryant and his wife went there often so the name Kobe probably was from their favorite restaurant! I was named after my Uncle Jiro who grew up in California and lived to be 100 years old! I am appreciative of all of your videos because you explain everything in great detail and you have great enthusiasm and energy in every episode. Thanks again
James, thank you so much for amazing work. Your channel inspires me to get back to trading after some painful losses. I'm located in Ukraine and never thought that so valuable information may be accessible totally for free. Although, I would be really glad to purchase a trading course, if you sell one. I wish your channel to grow as well as your trading account
Biggest mistake I made was I prioritized making money over doing something I loved. I tried dropshipping, starting an agency, and becoming an influencer just because of the money. I wasn't able to succeed because I couldn't put full effort. When I found trading, I could spend hours studying charts and learning. I'd pick up every book that was recommended to me and would read, take notes, and reflect. This is why I'm getting somewhere with trading and even though I was down a whole bunch of money I loved every step of the way.
Bad ass video brother !!! I think about Kobe every time I get stopped out ( never give up , keep shooting them hoops) but when I take my 10% wins I think about Kobe also!!! If I gave up on my entries I’d never been able to hit my target 🫡🔥💯
Thanks James. As a Kobe fan and someone obsessed with day trading. This was awesome!

Be real, how many takes did you do to sink that basket? XD
Lol the initial shot I missed. Then the shot I took with the trash can I made, so two shots.
