Honestly you can go search for this "ball" I think I have played against him... I remember a hammond that tried to overuse booping and I ended up fucking him up with Mei over and over and over. But what would I know.
I spent 40 mins learning this and I must say Im pretty good at this although I’ve never been able to use it in a quicc playe It’s hard to even find a opportunity to use it effectively
these are great techs, but i got an extra ball tech that I've been using that works wonders: whenever you get into the hero loading screen, immediately lock wrecking ball, and then press p, and leave team chat. works wonders
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how much recognition KarQ is giving EU Overwatch. Shock, Rady, Bogur and Ball now. Edit: just want to point out no one really cares who is better between EU and NA. A lot of good EU talent just don't get the same level of recognition and KarQ is providing that to them is a great thing.

As a DF main, it's nice to see the interesting side of Overwatch be popularly showcased on another hero atm (Yeatle made a similar video recently too) after it took so long for techniques like slopepunches and player bounces to be publicly known enough not to be accused of hacking. It would be nice if Athena had separate voice lines for multiple boops. Just imagine listening to something like "Double Boop", "Triple Boop!", "QUADRUPLE BOOP!!!" :)
I've known about this for a while but this video is great because it explains step by step how to recreate it and it's insanely useful. For example the whole jump is way more simpler with that explanation!

If Chipsa was picked up by Philly for his deep understanding of Doomfist's mechanics I don't see why a team shouldn't pick up Ball by the same logic, even if he'll never actually play.
Robert Zulueta if ur on console it doesn’t work, a better thing I have figured out is to look slightly to the side of the wall and the try wall climb(regardless you still have to time the jump right)
Don't forget the psychological impact of a ball rolling up to where you think you're safe because you know his hook is down but he just walljumps and piledrives your ass to monday
I am a Hammond main and these tricks are very handy. You definitely need a lot of hours with ball to consistently execute any trick in this video other than the double boop, keeping it simple and consistent with ball is the best strategy until your movement is fluid enough that you aren't getting stuck often.
His ability was boop. His ability wasn't double boop, and double boop was never intended to be part of his kit. The hero, and the rest of the heroes, are not balanced around Hammond having a 100 damage double boop ability. While I wouldn't call double booping "a bug", it was obviously never intended and therefore never balanced or balanced around. Of course the developers removed it.
Most of these I found by accident fucking with the camera and controls while in fireball mode.. Only one that always tricked me was the double boop and wall jump.
@@aris7115 yeah. and on maps in general trying to find ways you can do insane routes and rollouts on them. My favorite tip he did give was the last one its great once you figure out the angle on walls makes P.D. OP,
A good Hammond 1v1 tip is you can pile drive in their ults to kill a lot of their mines and severely weaken the rest. Mines only have 50 health. Your pile-driver does 20-100 damage aoe.
These techs are tuff to master to pull off @ will like him. Having too many difficulty to pull off 180 rebound right now. Slowly getting hang of double book and corner jump.
Did they change of this in overwatch 2? i cant for the love of me get ball to jump on walls and be high enough to pile drive back? Same for the double boop. I can hit the first but when I hit them again, it doesnt boop them
I've been maining hammond for some time now, and don't consider myself new with him at all, yet there was still MANY things I legit learned for the first time here
To pull the wall jump off you have to pd only after you changed for w to s, then got up, then went to w again, otherwise youll pd away from the high ground

Tech 6: If you grapple onto a payload you can actually just spin in circles for a solid 3 minutes and wipe the enemy team.
You can counter this easy, just stay on the payload and spin in circles too with the same speed. So you hit every shot on this spinning Hammond.
This shit existed ever since hammond came out lol. Its the only thing average or new hammonds can do.
