All i know is that as a Wintone main, its an absolute pleasure seeing the fear in a Genji when 1v1ing and i see him try to deflect the tickle gun.

When he doesn't have dash he can do nothing.
Good Genjis will just poke you from range to farm blade and will never use dash unless they can confirm a kill to get out
Lol sometimes I just get in his bubble as genji and rightclick his big ass fucking forehead. You’ll be surprise as the winston how fast you can kill him if you land your shots.

I think that’s a pretty good tip. Learning not to panic and save resources for more value is definitely something loads of players can do better

Well, the hardest part of his kit is his ultimate, so no surprise most tips cover usage of it. He is rather simple otherwise.

I feel like one thing people don’t mention with the jump pack melee cancel is that if you are focusing too much on canceling and not teslaing your target will midair, your missing a lot of extra damage
The real thing is you don't actually do more damage with the "melee cancel" it does the same as teslaing them the whole time

kind of a gamble though because you gotta be really comfortable with juggling/jump pack control/movespeed bonus from your ult, plus you have to preempt lucio will ult, you can't really blindly react to it so it's almost a high risk high reward thing where the risk is potentially wasting your ultimate failing to deny his

I'm the newest to OW out of my friends (started 4 days ago!). After our first full-night session, I decided Winston was pretty straight-forward to play, and I came here.
Last night, we went from mostly defeats whenever I played to mostly victories!! Those victories of course weren't just because of me, and I've still got a LOT to learn, but this helped out so much 🙏 so thank you!

Best tip for a McCree is to jump above him and bubble him as he high noons. This applies to enemy and friendly McCrees

I think a better sombra tip is to keep in mind where the health packs are, since when she translocates it shows the direction she goes. Then you can chase her with your jump and catch her before she has her cooldowns up to escape.
Also, pro tip against doomfist's ult. Stand still in order to bait him to use it on you, when you see the circle just bubble and jump out. He probably wont use it on a winston but some dooms are dumb and will. The bubble is useful just incase a support ends up being in the circle.

a good tip for widow against an alone winston is you can jump off highground and grapple back up. this usually makes them back out because they don’t have jump for a bit

Winston needs another skill he’s to easily out classed by almost every hero. I know some people disagree and think he’s in a good place it’s just my opinion. My idea is make primal rage an action skill and set it to 8 seconds with a 40 second cool down (600 hundred health 100 armor, jump pack every 4 seconds and melee swing dose 50 damage every 0.6 second when prim is Activated. jumppack and health recovered) for the ult-SHOCKSLAM! (Winston slams the Tesla canon on the ground gorilla style Causing) a round area effect 5 meters that stuns for 1 second immediately and deals 25 damage every 1 second for 8 seconds with 50 percent chance to stun a second time after 4 seconds. When Winston Performs shockslam enemies in 1meter take 40 melee damage (passive shockslam makes a quick very bright lighting stike that may distract enemy’s. This would fix the issue that he currently has and put him on pair with the other tanks plus make him a blast to play!

I feel like primal rage even nerfed is still a bit op since the knock back would still cause massive kill potential.
I would keep primal rage as ugly and keep shock slam as an ability with a 12 second cooldown

If you have a jump pack in fight use the short jump melee combo.It knocks them out of your bubble and provides extra damage that usually kills them(In Deathmatch.)
It can also work in competitive as long you have primal rage or if you can still escape.
Extra sym tip:
Pro syms will usually hang around tps and will use it if you try to dive her, so use a similar strategy to widow and try to close distance on both ends

The punch before landing also does more knockback so shielding would also be good because if the distance between you and the enemy so they have the walk more to get in the shield to hit you giving you more time to damage them
