Yeah, it's a difficult concept to understand, that a person's brain gets turned to mush from being tackled too hard too many times, and therefore his brain is broken and so his behaviors may not truly be HIM. Real difficult concept to grasp for a lot of people despite the insurmountable evidence of both the causes and effects of CTE.

I can see both sides. Like, I kind of hate the idea of roasts and they're kind of toxic and sensationalize bad behavior but...I watched the first hour (will watch more when I get the chance) and laughed so I dunno. Guilty pleasure I guess.

Going 18-1 and losing the last game of the year after getting the lead back with 2min left in the game only to lose it on the last drive even when Eli threw a SURE EASY interception to Asante Samuel like Eli wanted to end the game but Asante dropped it then on 3rd in forever where defensive lineman have a hold of Eli and the defensive line man are being held BADLY but no flags then the throw like its a damn punt where 2 defenders should have intercepted it but its pinned to a dudes helmet and completed. Yeah, ANYONE would be sore about that. ANYONE would be sore about that! But he won in the end and that's all that matters.

Almost everyone disagrees with Florio on this. The whole thing was hilarious. Peyton was far from the best, he was ok but forgettable. Nikki Glaser, Tony Hinchcliffe, Jeff Ross, and several others were hilarious. Tom was really good also. Mike needs to quit with the “off limits” crap. It is interesting to see what the line is. They did say they'd make people feel uncomfortable. And it made me feel that way. I probably would have told them no on the suicide jokes at least. But there is a line. Jeff Ross stopped short of dropping an n-bomb. As he should, obviously. Saying that would've had a whole other reaction online, which hey, I 100% agree. So yeah, there was a line.

Starting with Comedy Central roasts, these new ones seem to be more mean than funny. Older roasts, like the great Dean Martin roasts, were more funny than mean. It takes skill to be funny. It doesn't take skill to be an asshole.
