In this video we test both the Hoover power-drive pet and the eureka floor rover in different scenarios. We test on area rugs and hard floors as well as a large area rug. I had some audio problems so you may not be able to hear me when the vacuum is on, but the video speaks for itself. I hope you enjoy this Hoover verses Eureka video. Ps I didn’t notice the double beginning until I already uploaded it so free blooper :) - Komedie
I have the Eureka floor rover. Actually just finished cleaning with it. Love it!. Good machine for the cost.
I was surprised by every task. I would have predicted that the Hoover was a better machine but clearly the Eureka sent it home crying. The airflow through the Eureka's floor nozzle says it all. I was surprised by the Eureka's agitation and was really surprised that the Eureka filtration performed better too. I thought that Hoover was on to something in that area. This is why Eureka has always been my go to affordable brand for certain machines in my houses. I've always found that their performance and feel is closest to a premium brand vacuum. I liked that the Eureka was noticeably quieter too. Thanks for the comparison Kode. Welcome back!
I have been eyeballing this Eureka I have a very old one (not even made anymore) I've had it for 5 years not sure how old it really is (Yard sale find) but I've realized in the last year or so it's declining on how well it picks up, and When I seen your video on it I had to click it! now I just have to save up to purchase it, it's more than I like to spend on a vacuum! I love the kept the Brush Roll on/off Feature that is one of my favorite parts of the one I have! and one of the reasons I kept it (I had a few to choose from- tested out and kept the ones I wanted) the other thing I love that they kept on this model is the nob to switch from floor to tools. I just wish they would of kept the rewind for the cord - I love that feature! I don't think I like the automatic height adjustment though I didn't have any problems bending down and turning a knob to adjust the height.. But all the features I love of my old one being on this one it'll be worth it plus the 30 ft cord and 5 year warranty! are huge pluses
Awesome video I actually have the same vacuum just like on your video this vacuum did an excellent job on the carpet even the barefloors and hardwood floor
Can you do a mess test with the eureka?? I might actually buy it tbh
“Iiiiiii dot. Like this camera” omg that was funny lol 😂
Jordan Ginter lol I don’t remember seeing that during editing what time, did it happen?
kode1996 it was at the very beginning of the video lol
Jordan Ginter lol I failed at editing.
Really Informative
Can you do a full housing with the floor rover
Can you test the Hoover whole house elite from Target?
Wait when did u get the eureka
Very useful comparison, thanks. I’ve decided to buy the Eureka NEU529. Have you tested this latest FloorRover Elite? It has several improvements.
Do you steel have your Kirby vacuum
Hi Kode, I think that regarding the FloorRover and the popcorn kernels, if you run into that situation again you could try shutting off the brushroll for a moment and tipping the machine for a moment or shutting off the brushroll and opening the suction vent so that the seal is broken and airflow will clear the chamber.
Bruce Solomon You are correct! I should have tried your ways! They probably would have worked!
I was wondering if you were think of the Electrolux Pro Swivel upright.
By the way I really enjoyed this video and your new floors look great.
Two beginnings!
The beginning and @23:02 LoL.
Totally cracked me up.
Lmao. Sometimes I miss these things. BLABULABLBA GOPRO STOP RECORDING! 😆😂😂😆
@@kode1996 it's fantastic.
I love the bad editing
It made the video that much more enjoyable.
kode1996; I know you had a Bissell pet eraser; can you tell us how these compare to the Bissell? thx! nice new floor! thx for the uploads.
Eureka FloorRover gets my vote - wicked looking machine with those giant wheels, but still was wondering what was going on with the popcorn kernals in the brushroll housing. When I think about your review of the Eureka Suction Seal, and how dreadful that was, the FloorRover seemed much better. I was disappointed with the Hoover to be honest I honestly thought there was something wrong with it when it came to its dismal peformance on hard floors - was the suction relief valve open? What happened to your Hoover React, do you still have that - I thought that looked like a good machine. Nice to see you back after a long while away.
Yes, the popcorn kernels concerned me as well. I really have no idea what happened. The suction relief valve was closed, I think it’s because the cleaner head has to much lift off the ground. I helped this by adding Velcro to the baseplate. I returned the react for the same reason as this one. But I kept this one because it has a big bin so I can pick up a lot of hair before emptying it. I also took ot the wind tunnel portion as it made the performance worse in my opinion. I do apologize for being gone so long.
Dyson ball or shark apex vacuum with outperform the Hoover and Eurerka just my opinion
Dyson vs eureka ?!?!?!?!?
I don't know Why the Hell that Hoover has put a Name of a VERY GOOD previous model vacuum and nowadays they put it on Cheap Plastic Crap like this??!!
