FYI: I run exsang mines as well and you should totally use The Gull when doing this strat. The shrine effect scales the experience, you get more shrines and more shrine duration. I've started to even use the gull on my regular mapping with shrines on the tree. Feels like the worlds smallest headhunter.
Thank you for the feedback. I didn't pick it up because of: Fixed a bug where the Domination Scarab of Teachings applied to Lesser Shrines (such as those created by The Gull Unique Helmet), and could be affected by modifiers to Shrine Effect. I didn't want want to override the buffs from the real shrines.
@@BahamGG you cant override those are different buffs, but i think based on those patchnotes the effect shouldnt scale the XP. so its 50/50 if u wanna get more duration you can have it but otherwise it doesnt do anything
Would it not be better to use abyss and allocate abyssal army for 50% more exp? Abyss with all nodes allocated will spawn an insane amount of monsters.
Exactly my thought, also the mobs don't disappear again when the Abyss is at the end. I'm currently leveling my first alt and will use this strategy but will also use "Allflame Ember of Untainted xxx" and "Omen of Brilliance".
Is it per shrine or per shrine buff affecting you cuz i did about 5-6 runs and it seems that its the shire effects that give ex buffs and not the number of them u used
Good luck getting these scarabs cheaper than 20c... Ventura made basically this same video a couple days ago and destroyed the market on these scarabs.
yeah the price went up like crazy. I bought 120 scarabs for 2d right before this video thought. It rose in price as I was recording 😑. It is still worth running though

Not sure about the difference in exp but these maps take like 5 minutes to clear with a decent build
I also tested abyss but hated the random direction thing. Breaches were easier for me. It could actually be better as it generates tons of mobs.
You can skip looting or make a more strict filter for this.

The number of shrine buffs. When speced into shrines you get 2 buffs per shrine.

the xp scarab is minimum 15c atm not 3-4c
