- After dropping the BMW X5 M Sport on H&R springs, she was looking sexy. But something was missing... I decided to go ahead and get some 22 inch wheels! This is the journey I went through to get these delivered and installed.. FedEx also continues to mess up my orders!

When I had 22's on mine it felt stuck to the road more and seemed to handle better in hard turns. Nice job!

Quick question, do you need to configure something on the computer, recalibrate the height, etc. when changing size or did you just throw them in there?

huge difference, what size are the spacers in the back?
Same issue I'm having with FedEx ordered 4 rims and tires and only got 3 on the 16th of Feb and the 4th hasn't been delivered yet

Sweet set up. What's the model number of the wheels?
9:28 more responsive because Bigger profile tires flexes. Smaller profiles is skinner and has stiffer side walls. Also bumppier ride as it gets smaller. Also other factor is tire pressure.
I got the OEM 20in style 469 staggered on my 35i M Sport. Just ordered replicas of the 468 style in black gloss for my staggered winter setup.

How did you go about accounting for the 1% differential so as not to screw up your xDrive? I am looking into getting 22s and am so confused as to how to do the math.

I’m planning to upgrade from 20” to 22”. Heard there could be decrease in comfort. Is that right? Also the fuel consumption would get bad. Let me know your thoughts. I own a X5 F15 2017 too.
My x5 is lowered, so the comfort stayed the same when I added the bigger wheels. I don’t really notice a difference in gas… it just feels a bit heavier.. that’s the only thing I can say off the bat that will change in feel.
Have you gone ahead with the upgrade? I have the same model and want to upgrade to 22" also.

Great looking wheels. I love my 22 But I bought my X5 M50D and it came with both summer and winter wheels in 22. But from my last car those big wheels feel like they are gripping better.
I notice on thing in your video and I don't understand why you did it. When you show of the wheels on the car you blurred out your nr plate. But when the car was in the shop and you filmed the car on the lift you didn't blur it.

Basically , don’t turn on your headlight switch. Flick it into centre and it stays white but at night you have to turn it to the automatic light otherwise your tail light won’t be on.. if you have your light switch on automatic and you go into a dark place such as car wash or tunnel, the instrument cluster/dash will turn orange but if you flick the switch of headland to the centre I.e off, it will be white inside the dash and you still get the Angel eyes lamp in front from your taillight won’t come on… Hope I have been able to explain it ..

No I did not, It was a listing that once I bought them, they were gone... google search “bmw x5 f15 wheels”, and a bunch of options come up.

@@Bubu617 Was looking at an '18 50i that I really liked but it had the 19's so I let it go. After seeing this, if I come across another one with the 19's that I like I'll just do what you did. Did you adjust your speedometer for the 22's, or is it close enough with the lower profiles that its not worth worrying about?
I haven’t tested if there is a difference with the speedo, but when I put the 22s with the low pros against the 19s with the thick tires, they were about the same size... so I just left the speedo as is

Hey bro I have a X6 and I wanted to put some 22s on it i wanted to ask you did you have to cut or remove anything how are the turns please let me know and I can’t find 22x11,22x10 all I find online are 22x9.5 and 22x10 is that a big difference let me know
22s fit perfect on our cars. Perfect fitment.. my times are front 22x10 rear 22x11.. keep looking online, and you will find what I are looking for. But the difference between the 9.5 and 10 are not that different. Put spacers and it will be as wide as u want

@@lavon_don9337 You might have to go with thick spacers in the rear to get that staggered look. What made you go 9 all around instead of thicker in the rear?

I tried to put 22 inches but was discourage by BMW Technician because it would compromise the transmission since it’s all wheel drive with some features and void the extend warranty that I have purchased.
@@igappleg3 x5 M comes with 21s from factory... and the new x3 and x5 come with 22s from factory as well... as long as you have the proper tires, the all wheel drive system will run normal.
