It really touches me how you both care so much for dogs. Lenny hit the jackpot when you two rescued him at the last minute. The dogs you adopted in the Gaza strip are so lucky that bighearted Steve encountered them. When I see your pack hiking with you in that magnificent wilderness it makes me feel lucky to know there are people like you in this world. Love the bear skull, but since zip ties eventually rot I would suggest using wire to hold it in place. It looks perfect on your woodshed.
Thanks my friend! 💝. Lucy has always reminded me of Hannah - she was hit by a car and her injuries were too severe for them to fix in Gaza. So she moves around like a wheelbarrow. She has always been our priority to get here first so that we can get her fixed and more ergonomically correct, but with her injuries being so old now, we don’t know what that would even look like. And wonder if she would be better to stay in the sand where she’s at. Anyway - time will tell. I had wanted to use wire - but couldn’t find any around the house Hopefully they last long enough before I have to redo it 🤞
Michelle, It was so heartwarming to know how Steve stepped up for those dogs in Gaza, yet now the unimaginable situation there makes that "feel good" story all the more personal and tragic for me. There is no comprehending the terrorist mentality, pure evil incarnate, but knowing on the other end of the human spectrum that kind people like you exist makes this tragic moment in history a bit more tolerable for me.@@michygoss7148
I've always loved your can do spirit and your "artsiness". But you and Steve are so special in your love and care for animals. You and Steve are unique together. That might be my favorite part of all this. And I think even the chipmunk knows there is something special with you in that regard. He somehow knows he's not threatened at all. Always love our "visit" on Sunday's. ❤❤
Oh, man... poor Lenny! Lenny is fortunate to have you guys for parents, now. So are all of your animals! And, I never thought wire ties would be used on a bear skull, but damn! They are the most versatile tool, huh? I like what you did with it. 😃
It just breaks my heart when are dogs get sick😢 but you just keep spoiling them and that's a good one😅 bears skull is a really nice touch and your camping experience is beautiful❤ thank you for the video and thank you for working so hard to make the video for us❤ and you have such a beautiful family😊 and Steve he's funny😅 see you on the next one
Sad, sure, but testament to how tough dogs and cats are. As an emergency Vet for over 30 years, I have completely lost count of how many times we have found pellets and bullets in our patients on xrays, for completely unrelated things. Cats and dogs (especially) simply live in the moment, accept what is going on around them, and make the best of it. We have a LOT to learn from them... our pets, our family, our friends, our "babies."
The love you share for your pack is impressive. This was a beautiful tribute to Hannah and all her pack mates. The bear skull is a terrific capstone to the facia board on the wood shed. I doubt the inventor of the cable tie ever envisioned that someone would use them to repair a bear skull. Personally I use the small colored ones to secure my luggage when traveling; one color on all checked baggage with spares in my personal bag, and a different color inside a checked bag for the return trip. This way I can tell at a glance if a bag has been opened. Wishing you, Steve and your furry kids a blessed Thanksgiving Holiday and another great week filled with gentle seasonally appropriate weather and restful evenings together. Peace princess
Bonjour Steve et Michelle so nice see you two work together. such joy amongst you. winter chores will always be with us but that's life. soon you'll be on the high seas again. you being so far away from BC, will be somewhat 'unbearable .' nice add to the structure with the skull.
Michelle. You blow me away with every video. The stamina and work ethic that You and Steve have is so inspiring. I am now looking forward to Sundays, knowing that I will be able to see your latest adventure. Thank You. PS... The Bear skull is the cherry on top. Good call.
Michelle My dear friend, you are one in a million. Warms my heart ❤️. Thank you for being who you are. Sending my love to Lenny and of course the rest of the bunch. Great job with the Bear skull!
I really liked the Hannah Bear plaque. You did a great job on it. Steve you did a great job repairing those steps. Lots of us are repairing work of exes. I think it is a sign of our generation.
Michelle, Awesome lookout and scenery from your campsite. Using the bear skull that Hannah brought you for you is the perfect piece to cover the gap in the fascia; it also, doubles as a Bears be Ware apotropaic symbol..Ha... Cheers and Blue Skies! Faithfully, James
Michy....I love your videos and Life. Steve is a hoot and so much Love is shared with the Pups. Saying a little puppy Prayer for Lenny, He deserves it. Best wishes my friend
Wonderful scenery on your hike. You guys sure do live life. Lenny is so luck you found him. Nothing can make up for the abuse he endured, but you are certainly giving it a go. It is amazing he has survived as long as he has. We recently had to say goodbye to the last of our beloved fur baby. She made it to 15 years old. Her sister made it to 13. We miss them both a lot. Just something about certain dogs that adds so much to our lives. Aren't zip ties just the cats meow for some projects...?! That old bear will do a good job of watching over you wood for a long time to come. As far as Michymash goes..... It amazes me how much you two pack into your lives. To have just a glimpse into it gives my smile muscles a good workout. No mater how Michymashy it is. Your international connections are truly impressive. Thank you so much for giving on old fart like me a reason to get up on a Sunday morning.
Oh Michelle, you have such a beautiful heart and soul! Your segment with the bear scull was so touching for me and now I also think you have renamed the woodshed to the "Bear Lodge" This video really touched my heart! I must be getting mushy in my old age, but in any event, keep making great videos! Thanks
I made a ramp, with a 2x10 x 8ft and attached carpet, so my dogs could get in and out of my trucks easily. It's so good to see you guys, and a pickup full of happy dogs! You make such great videos. Thanks for sharing. I think all the vaccines and shots and flea and tic meds are killing our animals slowly, like they are doing to us. All my dogs and all my dads dogs, he also rescued shelter dogs, all died with strange symptoms. Like they all had cancer. Just like my Mom and Dad did. I cracked up with Steves excavator arm! Wishing you a great week!
I love your and Steve's love for each other so so much.... and the love you two have for your beautiful pack of dogs and kitty cat (and your little chipmunk friends too) ... it simply fills me with so much loving healing energy that I appreciate so much!Thank you !!!! 💜
You are a Beautiful & talented young lady. You are so thoughtful and your heart warms us all in what you are doing. What we call the little things, you seem to tackle very well. The bear skull was superior as most of us would have tossed it and not spend anytime on it. But you fixed, repaired and handle it very well. Now, a priceless gem is afixed to a shed. Your love for your animals is over the top. Big Hugs from Santa Barbara. 🍷❤😎😘😍🌹🤗
Love seeing what Adventures yourself and steve are getting up to. And its so amazeing that you guys adopted those fur babys bless, keep up the great work guys so humble. ❤❤
Poor Lenny, you are so good to those dogs. Also my favourite time of year.... Beautiful colours and clear weather leading to the snows that put the icing on the stunning scenery. Lucky first husband😆
Awww poor Lenny, he's such a sweetie he deserves a lot of spoiling. And such a happy picture all the dogs in the truck at 1 time, all with tails wagging 💖 Aww you brought tears to my eyes with that story about Hanna's bear skull, and what better place to hang it, Perfect💘I love you guys...
You and Steve are so good and kind hearted. Gods fur babies are so BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO SEE EVERY bit of GODS BEAUTIFUL CREATIONS ad well as you❤❤❤❤😊😊 Love weezie
What an amazing place to visit, so beautiful. I can’t believe you guys are going for the boat already or at least planning the trip. The bear skull is perfect.
Bearie cool memorial to Hannah. I can speak for most of us men who would be glad & honored to be your future husband, but not many would measure up to Steve. He is quite a remarkable man.
I'll admit, I'm really not much of a dog person (cat lover.... Hi Southgate!!). But it even broke _my_ heart to hear that Lenny had a bullet lodged in his body!! My non-violent mind wants to try and believe that it was somehow an accident. Because I simply cannot fathom any situation where someone would intentionally shoot a creature such as a dog!! Truly heart-breaking!! I hope the little fella gets fixed up, and all goes well..
I wish to believe it was an accident too, but it wasn’t. Lenny was very abused, and still suffers from a ton of psychological trauma (even with all the love and kindness we showered him with all day long). I don’t think he will ever forget his past, which is very sad to me. But he is happy for the most part!
Michelle, Really appreciate an update of all the things that are going on there. I think everyone on this side of the border is scrambling as well. The scenery on your hike is to die for! Thanks for Sharing!
Poor Lenny! You guys are so awesome in your kindness to dogs and animals in general. Thanks for your soothing voice, beautiful scenery shots, and wonderful projects. The bear skull idea is touching (love ya, Hannah!) and looks fantastic in place.
1:26 SO SWEET!! I've had two Beagles - both, wonderful, loving dogs! 3:42 adorable. 5:51 Lenny is so lucky to have y'all. I hope things go well for him.
Loved the part when you closed the back of the truck and all you could see what the tops of the dog's heads, and lots of wagging tails!! I really did lol ha ha. Nice!
Such a beautiful woman, such a kind heart! Steve, I am sure, knows how lucky he is to have such an amazing lady in his life. Lovely video Michelle lovely video indeed.
Really a great episode. Hugs to you, Steve and all the pups. ps I think you should use copper or stainless steel wire to secure that skull. The plastic ties will likely get brittle and fail.

God bless you both for opening your hearts and home to these unfortunate and fortunate animals that need loving. Thanks for sharing keep up the great work guys...
So glad to hear the news on Lenny…guess in the near future I won’t be able to refer to him (as I do by myself) lovingly, as big balls Lenny with a big smile on my face. Hope that doesn’t sound too weird….love your content !
Have you and Steve ever gone into the Bugaboo area? great camping spots and hiking. PS, Steve, the stairs look great, craftsmanship before stamped concrete 🤣
Steve is a damn good man after my own heart. If ya want it done right do it yerself. If you can't do it right don't do it at all. Poor Lenny. He is such a sweet dog. He needs lots of love and care. I know I'm 7 months behind on videos but I just started watching them, I started from the first one. I really hope you see all my old comments, if you get notified of them. You are an awesome lady and I am so impressed with everything you have done. God bless you
By far my wifes favorite times is Autunm. She records every scary movie she can and loves the cool nights. Me, I work project all thru the year. This year it was an above ground pool and deck for the kids. Recently a solar water heater for the pool but by the time I finished it the sun is no longer high enough in the sky for the solar heater to capture enough sun. I couldnt get over the view from your cabin and the snow already on the distant mountains is definitely a sign that Autunm has arrived. Love the closeups of the pooches.
Hi Michelle. It warms my heart to see all the love and care you and Steve have for not only your dogs, but on the other ones you come in contact with in your travels. You are both blessed to have them in your lives. I like the skull on the woodshed, looks good. You could have used epoxy to fix it. If you're going to Taiwan to get your boat, have a safe trip and GOD be with you.
Love the bear skull. I really think protecting it from the weather would be a good idea. Maybe extending a piece of similar sheet metal over the skull would be good, or making a small "A" frame structure of cedar shakes, over it would look nice.
Hi Michelle. One great video. Enjoy seeing Steve and you and the hounds enjoying life. Wishing you much luck with your upcoming trip. You are always looking so beautiful. Love the bear head. Stay safe and happy. G
What great people you are for taking such good care of your fur babies ❤️ Another great video. By the way good morning I like you posting early in the morning. I love having coffee with you 🙂🙂☕️☕️
Fantastic episode Michy. Hey Steve, I just gotta say you are an amazing guy, and a great fit with Michelle. Wishing you both, and your awesome dogs, continued peace, harmony, and happiness!
That is very humorous of Steve, Michy. That's sad too hear about lenny, and unfortunately I too have witnessed and reported the objectivifying of animals it's very disturbing. He's one of the lucky ones too get such a good home and family. Michy, you mentioned you have a friend in Gaza. Yesterday early morning Hamas Palestinian fighters heavily armed, invaded the Gaza strip , along with bombing with over 4000 rockets. They had used paragliders, and breached the fences. There have been Israel soldiers taken hostage, and civilians. Israel ordered everyone out of the Gaza strip, they have been returning heavy fire and declared war. They are sending in the IDF and won't stop until they have cleared the Hamas fighters and restored peace, everything else is collateral damage. I'm sorry to tell you but you should know. There is a chance. Take care and God bless amen.
Copper wire would be good
they actually make a very tough metal zip tie. i find them invaluable.
@@richardclark. That sounds great I'll be on the lookout for that. Thanks.

great video love the bear skull on the wood shed you are amazing 😇
Beautiful country in the fall with foliage colors !
It’s the same way in the Pacific Northwest where I live !
Looks like all the puppers had fun !
I remember the episode with the split facia and suggested you use the metal ‘plate’. Using it to mount the skull is really clever. Looks great!
Thanks for sharing. Steve is a lucky guy.
I love it when you feature the dogs. You and Steve are such good dog parents. Our thoughts are with Lenny's recovery from his pending surgery.
14:02 absolutely perfect. You really do have a great eye for decorating. Even with skulls! 😁

Centrepiece skull fits right just the way you have it!❤
That is very humorous of Steve, Michy.
God Bless, Lenny!
