Smartstitch is an established brand. Many people use these, and they have great results with using them.

Thank you. I’m on the Fence between getting a BAI or SmartStitch.

Smartstitch to my knowledge started out last year around the summertime. Great machine so far though.

Thanks for the Video, I was in the same boat I use all Brother Embroidery machines and when I saw this deal I ask myself the same questions.....am still learning this particular machine myself 🙂

Right! I was comparing it to the brother PRS 100 which is more expensive. This is a great deal and value for your money.

My partner and I just got this machine recently, it's great to see someone else learning the ropes around the same time we are! Learning how to navigate and set up the information on the screen has been tricky, could you possibly tell me how to go about setting the thread colors for each needle on the machine? It's defaulted to random colors for each needle, and I can't seem to find how to identify what they actually are threaded with. Any help would be so appreciated!

Can you show us when you have your mighty hoop set up? That’s what I’m thinking of also doing I just don’t know how it would work with a smart stitch there aren’t really good videos on that 👍🏽

Which design software do you use? Great video! I am brand nee to embroidery and struggling to understand how to upload images from my Mac onto my new smartstitch! Thanks in advance!

The machine uses DST files. You need to either purchase designs from websites like Etsy or if you want your own designs use a paid software like Hatch. Inkstitch is free software you can use as well. You can use websites like fiverr to pay a digitizer to digitize your logos as well.

Thank you so much for the reply! Do you use Hatch? I have seen many recommendations that suggest I purchase it but it seems like it is not compatible with Macbooks. Which programs do you use? Your designs turned out great.

@@natalieungvarsky6146 At the moment I pay a digitizer to do the designs for me. But Ink stitch is a great program to start out with. Lot's of videos on youtube to teach you how to use it.

@@natalieungvarsky6146hi I use hatch. It’s really expensive but worth the money. They offer a free trial!
