I'm glad you mentioned that the light pollution affects the wildlife 👍

I knew a bit about these filters but this cleared some things up. Very nice video. I just started imaging with the Optolong L-enhance and my DSLR recently, and I have to say it was worth the purchase. I think I will move onto monochrome in a year or two.

Now if only someone would come up with a Wildfire Smoke Filter then all of us Astrophotographers in Canada would be very happy ! LOL !

Hi there. That sounds wonderful. Maybe an lpro lp filter, but you could try astrophotography without a filter first and see what kind of results you'll get. A good test would be to take a couple of long exposure photos (1 to 5 minutes) and check if there's any light pollution visible.

I was exactly looking for a video like this, today i was looking for a filter to buy to do some astrophotography but i don't really know what to get because um unsure if to buy the optolong l pro or an explore scientific uhc filter and an o-ii one, my target is to see quite every kind or deep sky object so id like to somebody help clear me it out

I’m curious if oxygen, Ha and sulphur filters could be used separately (like mono cameras) to image successfully with a osc color camera ?

Yes, but most folks use a duo- or dualband filter to safe time.

Hey I have vaonis dual band filter for my vespera. I accidentally got a couple of finger prints on lens. What would be the best way to clean?

This is the info on the vaonis website: If you notice any streaks or dust, gently clean the filter with an optical wipe, microfiber cloth, feather duster or air blower. Do not attempt to open the lens ring that contains the filter
