It is also really important to have a good mindset while batting. Not all batsman are technical, not all can hit big sixes, but all great batsman have a strong mindset

I have something wrong with my hands so i cant comfortable have my bat raised straight behind me. So my bat is always at an angle pointing towards 2nd and 3rd slip. This obviously affects shots like the drive and other shots played on the offside on the front foot. Ive tried adjusting my grip on many different ways but nothing works. Any tips?

Not all players get success at international level yet their coaching skills are still good. John Buchanan was a very average player for Australia, yet he is considered a great coach👍🏽

not every good player is good coach. Not every good coach is good player. I bet you had at least one teacher who was topper but you could not understand a thing what that teacher is teaching. Player and coach different profession different role. So mixing them is kinda illogical.
A good international player doesn’t necessarily make a great coach. Like wise, other way around
Have you heard of Abhishek Nayar, the batter? He has coached a lot of youth kids. The DK we see from Nidhas trophy also got coached under him.

Coaching is not the same as playing. Those are different skills. 😂
It’s not easy to play for India . If he had made to the Indian team it definitely separates boys from Men . Rest is all luck in Cricket . Easy catch gets dropped and you score a hundred and sometimes a good shot sticks in the hands and you get out . Sometimes a bad ball gets you a wicket and a good ball misses everything . Also the period when he played wasn’t easy as you had others waiting in the line and wouldn’t get too many opportunities like now .
It was a good video for the youngsters which almost covered everything one needs to work on !!
