I think Diego costa did the right thing, why waste your time in a club that you proved yourself in and then be told that you’re not needed anymore.
Except that it isn't the whole story. He kept asking to leave, at the start of every season that he was here and even worse, he pushed for a move to China when we were chasing the league title. That one incident could have derailed the season. When he was good, he was really good, but he often sulked when he didn't get his way and would disappear for half of the season.

Actually I believe Koscielny’s contract was up at the end of last season but Arsenal has an option to automatically extend it for another year, and they did. Koscielny didn’t want Arsenal to extend it but he had no say in the matter. They should’ve just let him leave tbh, he was a loyal servant for so long and just wanted to ride out the rest of his career in his home country. He shouldn’t have acted the way he did but Arsenal shouldn’t have forced him into a new contract that he didn’t want. Oh well, it looks like it all worked out though, Koscielny got his move and Arsenal got Luiz.
Kyle Duncan koscienly accepted a contract that says in his last year under contract his pay get reduced and is all pay as you play incentive based. Clearly he was all happy with it when he signed it, but when it got to the last year he pulled a fit over it and tried to leave for free. He thought their was a gentleman agreement when their wasn’t one
Jack Walker I completely agree that he should’ve known exactly what he was signing up for when he put pen to paper on that contract but I just don’t get why Arsenal was so intent on extending it when he had no desire of staying. I just think circumstances change and he wanted to leave and Arsenal should’ve just accepted that since he invested so much of himself into their club. The man gave Arsenal his all and just wanted to leave at the end of the season.

After the season he probably saw that it was business as usual and Arsenal were only ever going to play for a CL spot and a possible English or FA cup. So why waste another year playing in a team you dont have passion for anymore which is why he had a change of heart.
