  • Some asylum seekers have told Sky News they may avoid routine Home Office appointments over fears they could be detained and sent to Rwanda.
Under government plans, anyone entering the country illegally since 2022 will be sent to Rwanda to have their claim processed.
On 28 April, the government said it would start to detain people ahead of their removal within the next few weeks.
Official documents have revealed that of 5,700 asylum seekers in the first group of migrants identified for removal to Rwanda, contact has been lost with 3,557.

@scarfholdgraphicsmedia9501 the government uses tax payer money to give shelter to immigrants but charities only see a fraction of that and don't have the reach that the government does. I'm not saying there should be no help for immigrants but the aid given to anyone should have equity. Drugs are a way to survive, especially in British weather, if there was ANY stable shelter with zero vice tolerance, there's a chance that anyone in that position can rehabilitate. To be practical though, six month maximum benefits for someone who refuses to get better or puts other people's rehabilitation at risk. Compassionate but fair, I think

@scarfholdgraphicsmedia9501 The government uses taxpayer money to fund the immigration shelters. However, charities do not have the same reach as the government and only see a fraction of tax contributions and therefore can not help in the same way or as quickly. I am not saying that immigrants should not receive aid but that aid should be distributed with equity. Drug usage is rampant due to loneliness, lack of aid, and British weather. Sometimes, it can be the only way to survive. If we had zero vice tolerance shelters in place (a stable living environment), then anyone could have a chance to rehabilitate themselves. However, there should be a condition that anyone not willing to rehabilitate or put others rehabilitation at risk should have a maximum of six months' benefits. Compassionate but practical.

People wonder why the Uk is so upset with this mass economic migration. The Govament is squeezing every penny they can from us to pay for this. People on the Council waiting list for YEARS but a location has been found in day for the migrants?
I tried a business loan modal and was told it was not viable at the location but 6 Hairdressers and 4 cafe's and 5 international shops on that street are?. We all have a Right to our own opinion and this is mine.
