- Tensions arise in the Alpha Quadrant. The Dominion is trying to divide the factions to destabilize the region and take over. Klingons against Cardassians, Federations against Klingons - the more they fight amongst themselves, the weaker they get against the Dominion.
We are David Frank and Christian Lerch and this is a fun project we do in our spare time. We are Motion Designers, Star Trek Fans and Sci-Fi nerds.

What you've done here is nothing short of outstanding. The composition, sequencing, music, dialogue selection is the best work I've ever seen in anything related to or associated with Star Trek. It wouldn't look out of place in a theatre. I've never seen LCARS look so beautiful and alive either. Fantastic!
AGREED 100% on all counts, the LCARS sequences made me weep, the beautiful ships, renderings, camera angles, lighting, the transitions!!!! the music and choreo of all elements, i'm literally crying here with how beautiful this is.

@@jackbj this shows nothing about what ds9 is really about and is just a montage of tech demos with voice overs. Cbs shows actual footage from the show and shows what the show is like.
@@thewewguy8t88 Only it does show the themes portrayed over the season, and it does so without the assets of the actors. To be honest, CBS's trailers have far less thought put in to them and amount to little more than action schlock with a one liner thrown in at the most predictable times.
CBS should learn from the heart and detail put into these fan trailers. It is the heart of Trek that has been missing since 2005.

There is no actual show... Real Trek ended 2005... all after that is just a bad replica (with the possible exception of "Lower Decks").

OMG, it makes DS9 SO MUCH MORE EPIC but almost TOO CLEAN and PERFECT. I'm used to it's fuzzy old Noir TV look like classic movies it gave me! =P
Good God that was amazing! I've seen the series seasons 1 thru 7 and back again multiple times and I've never been this hyped for it. That was incredible.

Fantastic! Seeing this in high resolution really makes me hope that Star Trek returns to its original universe one day. Those Mike Okuda designs alone...I've done so much interface design in the past and always admired these distinct designs. You really managed to capture the beauty of LCARS and the other elements very well.
You've got to show some of this to Ira Stephen Behr for possible use in his upcoming DS9 documentary, "What We Left Behind." That might get CBS's attention!

That was glorious, inspired by the Prophets if I may say so. These homegrown trailers/promos for DS9 give me life. The dudes who put them together should be coveted by, at very least, the advertising departments of every Hollywood studio.
I've watched this dozens of times now. It's incredible stuff! I just wish someone would take notice and bring the series to high-def. It's long past time now.

There's already a season 7 it's been out for years I've seen all of DS9 episodes captain sisko die the Dominion loser and Odo goes back to his people

Most definitely. Still, if Discovery really wanted to improve itself visually, dump the HDR. It really makes the show look worse on regular screens. And find a new warp effect for Discovery. "Star Trek V" had less ridiculous looking warp effects.
Oh, and PLEASE lose the lens flares. There are entirely too many of them for any show that so thoroughly repudiates the Abramsverse. Not to mention that lens flares are actually something good photographers/cinematographers/etc. try to avoid like the plague...
