Wow, I really appreciate you for this excellent video, a lot of information in it, it is only 32 minutes video, but it took me 2 hours to watch it, I had to take my time so that I write notes and undertand the subject matter, this is the 3rd video I am watching from your series, and I plan to to watch the rest of oyur videos, you give a lot of information, in a straight forward way, your method reminds me of my favorite computer science teacher in college.

This is my first day here but I can absolutely guarantee you it won't be my last. I've been trying to get a full grasp of options for three months but in this one afternoon I got more of an idea not only of how it works but how it is suppose to work. So for all of you young guys and gals if a seventy five year old man starting from nothing is understanding it then you have no excuse since no one needs to know how many times you listened to the tapes before you got it. As was told to me fifty years ago in my first very early morning introduction to RANGER school at Fort Benning. "If you weren't in superior physical condition you would not be sitting here now but this course is only twenty five per cent physical but seventy five per cent mental. If you want too badly enough you can make it but this class has around four hundred to start but no more than forty of you will be left here at graduation. I was then and will be now just keep up and keep the lessons coming.
That is a fantastic perspective my friend. You can absolutely learn this stuff. It is never too late! Many members in our community are closer to your age as well, and came to us with no prior options knowledge. Age is nothing but a number! Keep up the hard work and it wont be long before all of these concepts click!
Well in brief John the Noble Savage was a character out of the novel Brave New World and for one obvious reason he was totally out of place in the world at that time The novel was written by Aldous Huxley around 1934. You have now become my tutor and with your knowldege and my contacts I think the future could be bright but just make sure you let me know how to get in touch with you - but in my opinion you have a gift for teaching!

I have a theory. When people ( book market writer) write a lot of books about market,they are not good making money for a living in the market, because if they are good they would be making money in the market. My point: I have read a lot of books about options market trading and I have never learned like I did in this course . In these scenarios were the price of the stock went up but you lost money on the contract, what about exercising the contract and then selling the stock at a profit? Wouldn't that be better than losing money?
This was a very very very very very very very very very very important video. It was the final minute that brought it all into focus and create that Ah-Ha moment, "You made a profit and you still lost money!" I think this world of investing is amazing and you really gotta know what to do.

I bought my first 14day call option Tuesday on AMZN at 0.78 cents price of underlying was $97.80 the strike price was 101, not surprisingly a mere two days later i'm up significantly and amazon hit $103 sometime today i'm basically in the money. I kept wondering to myself what should I do treat it like i'm trading stocks ? or wait until the expiration. After watching this video I totally understand what my strategy should be considering all these factors . Thanks for this.

So, if you buy a call / put option at a fixed price does your final sell price become locked in to your original buy price or will the volatility have a impact still on your sell price
