What If I Have A GM 103 And Two Holes Wont Sync Wit A MSD Intake Manifold
Hey man I love your setup on your Camaro and I know that your cars have changed but I wanted to know that I have a ported MSD intake with currently a ported mamo 91mm TB and was looking into the solar 100 mm Tb with the adapter they offer. I wanted to ask if you think 100 mm is too big or too much air for a full bolt on a heads cam setup? Also going with a larger throttle body do you have any issues with throttle closing up top with the 100mm? I would definitely have to get a retune after the install? Also did you ever adjust fan turn on temperature on your Camaro to make it alittle cooler sooner?
Will need a retune and no the 100mm will still help. It worked well for the Camaro and mint tuner might have adjusted that but not sure.

When installing the new solor adapter did you still use the blk paper adapter behind throttle body or did u depend on the msd red gasket? Waiting for your c8 upgrades soon!
I ended up using black paper adapter and thanks man idk if I’ll be messing too much with the c8 but hopefully we can do something’s.
@@JLSpeed so you used the black over top the msd gasket. Also would would you recommend the 95mm or the 100mm effective solor has now. Im only 570rwhp NA on pump 93 so I'm not sure i need the 100mm do you think

@@JLSpeed yea man what about the pops did you keep ‘em or no pops I’ve been to excessive HHP Serious HP Houston performance all trash rob me of my money and my power I feel like every one else is not going thru what I’m going thru with these tuners

Glad you got it situated. Curious, why did you choose to go with a ported ZL1 throttle body instead of a 103mm throttle specifically for the MSD intake?
Num Vienthongsuk it’s a ported zr1 Tb that is 95mm but after porting around 100mm. I had this on before the MSD and have had good results from it. I could probably go with a 103 and get similar results, but not much of a difference between the 103 and the ported 95 to justify switching.
I would much rather see the G8 than that Mustang!
Do you need the silver adapter/spaceer if you run a 103 tb

Yes it will it will need an adapter or have the Tb modified to fit it

@@luisflores438 you need to buy one Soler engineering sells one and so does ict billet. The MSD has the bolt spacing to match up with the lt1 not the lt5

Question, did you install yours with the three notches at the top or bottom? Because on the gen 5 LS3 to have the notches at the top you’ll need to flip it and then get an extension connector in order to make that work.
umm not sure what you mean with notches? I installed it the same normal way didn't flip anything plus this is for the gen 5 lt1 not the gen 4 ls3

Where can I find just a spacer for the lt2 intake? My issue is the intake is higher than the lt1 intake so it has my cold air intake at a different angle and its not sealed all the way im worried about getting water in it. Still have the stock throttle body

I need the 95 to 103 adapter to use there 95mm tb to the msd? Or can I bolt directly to the msd?
If the Tb isn’t modified to have the holes elongated to fit, you will need the adapter, if it’s modified no need for adapter
