For those who don’t know, crispys vehicle drove over a 200-pound IED in Iraq hitting the fuel tank and sending it six feet up in the air, killing one. Being in a kill zone he climbed back in the turret of the inflamed vehicle and provided cover for his teammates. After being thrown from the tank, he broke both of his femurs as well as suffering 3rd and 4th-degree burns on 75% of his body
I figured it was combat related, but damn! That's on a whole other level.

I've had my glock 20 and M&P 40 that hasn't been deep cleaned in over a year and they still run flawlessly.

@Suicide Kyd Actually, that's a thing that's in the manual. In a PTR-91K, for example, the break-in period is about 300 rounds, with barrel cleaning after every 20 rounds for the first 100 rounds.

One of the things I've learned to do is take the brightest light I have and shine over the work, sorta helps XD
You should consider getting yourself a drop down welding mask with one of those light sensing windows. Its very nice to have if you are working around other people

crispy11b is one of my heroes, I first learned of his story through a black rifle coffee video, he had such a huge impact on me that I decided that day anyway that I can personally help veterans I would do so happily. This man is a legend.

Crispy is someone to look up to, admire and respect. His attitude brings me great joy. His service for in military might be over, he now serves the entire earth with his vibes.
I'm an amputee like Crispy, just not as severe. Lost my trigger and middle finger to a Jointer. Seeing him make jokes about it reminds me of joking about mine. I have nubs and I love to put one at a time in my ear or nose to get funny looks from kids. That magic trick when you use your thumb tip as index tip and move it, I pretend to drop my finger tip and ask for help finding it. My favorite is to flip you off with my middle nub saying "I got you something half off at Wallmart, I hope you like it". The hardest part about losing those fingers on my dominant hand was changing my girlfriend hand.

I had a run in with a table saw as a kid, I don’t have a middle finger, and only half a ring finger. My pointer is pretty much useless. That being said, humor about it was the only thing that kept me sane. Crispy is a true hero, and the intro was one of the best so far!

I love seeing all the people who come out to the range but something is special about Crispy and Nicks appearance because their vet status truly just shocks you when you hear the stories told and what they went through, Crispy with his Engagement that cost him a limb and scarred his body, and Nick writing a whole book on his experience as a true Sniper. Absolute LEGENDS
No matter what any of us ever do in our lives, none of us will ever be even a tenth of the badass crispy is. He went through some of the most traumatic injuries a person can and is still a super positive guy and seems like. Joy to be around. He’s obviously needed on this earth. He looked death in the face and laughed.

@@DaveL9170 you are correct sir. it is pretty much impossible for me to follow the 4th law. so that is why I choose not to persue concealed carry or anything liek that. so I just shoot with friends at a shooting range for targeting shooting where I use the bench/body awareness and my friends to make sure we are all being safe.
