Praggnanandhaa scored his first win against Magnus Carlsen at the Superbet Rapid and Blitz taking place in Warsaw, Poland. This was in the 2nd round of the blitz event. USA here - I can't speak for my entire country, but I'm proud of Pragg as well. He stays composed, he plays sharp accurate moves, and he seems a respectful respectable young man. There's nothing not to cheer for. I root for him when he plays, and I hope/expect that he will one day be champion because I think he will be an excellent one. It seems he will have a healthy rival in Gukesh, and I look forward to watching it develop over the decades to come.
