I agree, especially since there's alot of shame put on students who decide to go that route. Even though that makes the most sense financially for ALOT of students.

I think leaving out that she went to community college makes tons of community college students feel like they can’t achieve going to theses type of schools when really they can because that’s exactly what she did. My family friend went to community college, then USC, and now attends Harvard for his PhD/MD !
Truth! I have my doctorate in psychology but started in community college. I needed that transitional time! No shame!

She’s so well spoken when she talks about her schools or classes. I also love that she took gap years before she started because I did as well while everyone says if you don’t go to college straight away, you’ll never go.
I agree. I started my BA at the age of 21 and my MSc at 41. Gaining valuable life and work experience before and between studies has been so helpful for me.

Ah, I went to UCLA for both my BA and PhD! I actually got into most of the Ivy's but UCLA rocks. And it happened to be the best school in my three specialties (though only people active in the field know that). One of my great friends actually did a PhD at Yale in Af Am but with Sociology. She was already a highly regarded professor of law but wanted to get that PhD.
She's a stunning young lady. To say the least, her scholarly interests are fascinating. Here's wishing her very good luck for the future.

She took out loans for Oxford and her PhD program is fully funded (it means they pay you to get your PhD there.). She has her own channel.
Yale is not worth it because it is really weird and Confusing as a Course outcome.
The American System is still confusing to those of us from Ghana and the rest of the Commonwealth.
yale is worth it depending on the major, because yale graduates make quite a bit of money on average

@@jamesbedukodjograham5508 On average, yale graduates are able to pay back any loans they took to attend within 1-2 years after graduating. After this, usually, they already have a salary advantage over students from most other universities. The 5% is because of the huge amount of people applying making it much more competitive and difficult to enter. Universities can't just accept everyone that applies
So you want to be poor after all of that work? I hope you find a job and make it happen.
