  • Two University of Texas at Austin professors and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton have filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration, challenging new Title IX provisions that require Texas public colleges to excuse student absences for out-of-state abortion care and address the use of pronouns for nonbinary students, arguing that these provisions violate the professors' First Amendment rights and overstep state laws.
