Anakin was Palpy’s project before Anakin was even born and his purpose was for the darkside all along except that Dooku convinced Palpy it’s better to have an apprentice trained by the Jedi first before turning them. Id disagree kylo has had extremely emotional scenes especially him killing his father,Being unable to kill his mother,and even if its a memory seeing his father again and finally redeeming himself.The sequels have fantastic scenes for emotional effect like luke seeing leia again.

Ewan Mcgreggor and Hayden Christensen Absolutely nailed this scene. You can feel the emotion through the TV screen. The rest of the series was kinda Blah, but the episode is the best thing Disney has put out. Hands down!

Anakin's story is very sad, & this scene was the saddest in all its history, Anakin admitting it wasn't Obi-Wan's fault but his own. I think Anakin regretted everything, but he didn't give himself a choice considering the bad choices he made. I think the same way Reva regretted working for Vader & turned against him, Anakin/Vader turned against the Emporer & threw him into the shaft. (I hate Disney, but good story writing)

Its not good writing, the Kenobi series is consistently terrible. This whole excuse for a "duel" is copied from Rebels, and they put that scene in to absolve Obi Wan of all flaws and reinforce the idea he is essentially perfect. Boring. Gary Stu.
We all have a Vader inside us. And what Anakin went through is enough to bring it out for any of us. And it was gut wrenching to see obi wan has to suffer while he looks apon his defeated student for a second time
“I am what remains” we can all relate to this. Go through trauma through your life that makes you change part of who you are. Killing your old self and then the damaged trauma riddled self is what remains. One day to reconcile with your demons and eventually return to your old self. If you’re lucky to live that long. What a tough line
What a moving moment this was. There is still a fraction of Anakin left in him here, and he’s trying so hard not to reveal it fully, but you can see and feel the torment he’s going through internally. It really is such a sad story - Vader. Everything he did, was for Padme. Turning against the Jedi, turning to the dark side, becoming a Sith Lord, slaughtering the younglings, betraying Mace Windu and of course his brother Obi-Wan. All of these terrible things were driven purely by his desire to save his wife from death. What would you do to save your loved ones?? On the outside Vader is a monster, but really all he is, is a human being. So sad 😞
He didn't do that entirely for Padmé, it was also for himself, he didn't want to feel powerless again and to go through another grief He chose a path he thought could save him and his lover, but yeah as you said, he found torment and self-hatred

Pain and suffering and death it couldn't be padme it was about himself the pain and suffering he had to deal with after the death of Anakin Skywalker. All the memories and suffering he dealt to himself and all the pain he cause for himself and others the death of the ones that Anakin love that Vader killed them. The amount of stress is what killed Skywalker and gave birth to Darth Vader
The Obi-Wan series is definitely the highlight of all the Star Wars stuff that Disney's produced. They should stick to stuff like this, instead of making movies like The Rise Of Shitwalker!

For me, the Disney interaction of Obi-wan and Anakin seemed a bit off. The writing was in the wrong style. They therefore weren't George's characters, rather they were Disney adaptations using the same actors.
