@@BK_ZERO well it is not actually a whole story, it is her fear of separation, fear of never seeing her brother/love ones again and don't know how they are doing. The game ilomilo is about 2 characters separated from each other and try to find a way to see the other one. Just imagine if that is not a video game but the real life, and when you lose at some point, they will be forever separated.
I have that exact same fear, though I love the melody, I tried to avoid listen to the song at some point because it hits so hard on me and I don't want to cry. That even makes me love the song more and I'm glad that she said the song as "one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written".
