Those are Lenticular Clouds caused by air movement around the peaks.
They're pretty common here (Cheyenne, Wyoming) along the Front (eastern) range of the Rockies.
Correct. But they are very very rare here in Hawaii. I got some awesome photos of them yesterday. One lenticular cloud changed shapes dramatically throughout the day.
@@rodneytuxedo7559 Of Course they're rare there. Only three peaks in Hawaii i can think of that are capable of generating them, and the winds have to be just right.

@@rodneytuxedo7559 so I've filmed over 16,000+ GB of video timelapses in nature. This is one of my FAVORITE things. These clouds, it's like even when the wind blows, the clouds are moving but they stay in the same spot too.

It's Hawaii, things are different around here (weather, geography etc) because we are an island, completely separated from the continental!

The clouds didn’t change shape or move in 8 hours. I seen it before work, lunch time and after work. Same shape same location. Weird.

Lenticular Clouds, pretty common along high mountain ranges. We see them here in Wyoming pretty often.

5 monrhs ago a strange cloud and now August 11 there was a huge fire gust with winds. 🤨🤔 Was Hawaii targeted, was this to take out homes ❓ Something weird going on in this world and im going to figure it out.
