My ex boyfriend’s mother (and her husband, his step father) are /were very well off financially. She was probably the smartest person money wise I’ve ever met. My ex boyfriend’s mother (and her husband, his step father) are /were very well off financially. She was probably the smartest person money wise I’ve ever met. For example, she had to get a dress for her daughter’s wedding and she found a beaded designer gown only worn once before by the brand new look to it at Goodwill for about $8 at the time (in the 90s) She looked like a million bucks. She had a talent for finding amazing stuff but for a few dollars. I could write a book about all her ways she saved money.
