ReeceSimpson ahh plenty of other good V8's.... Aussie Ford V8, Audi's V8, BMW's V8 and last but not least Toyota V8. Chevy is a good V8 don't get me wrong but every motor swop you see these days is a LS boring Af.
ReeceSimpson now a BMW v10 would have been a insane swop. That screaming detuned f1 motor would have been jaw dropping but they just used a LS... OKAY THEN... nothing new

What transmission is used for that kind of vehicle I know I had a Volkswagen with a 2.0 Chevy motor but every time you burnout in the dirt and hit asphalt it would snap Volkswagen transmission an in half at the differential

I know very little about these cars... I don't understand why the motor is so far back, why is that? Just to have it far away from the people in the car?
+c4lliban 1. Its lighter, you don't have to use a long, heavy drive shaft or exhaust system.
2. It gives more traction at the rear. you want as much of the weight as possible over the rear wheels because they are the drive wheels.
