I’ve been trapping for about a year now and learned leaving a trail of food doesn’t work, because they’ll just grab what’s at the front and walk right back out of the trap. I’ve lost a bunch of possible TNR kitties that way. Better to leave just one scoop or small dish at the back.
Thank you for info on where to leave the food. So nervous because someone is trapping cats I have been feeding for 8 years and not telling me what happened to them and only 2 left. I am heartbroken.
