Kittens Isabella, Ian, Ida and Indy Love to Play!
Kittens Isabella, Ian, Ida and Indy were born in a humane trap to a feral mother cat, Inca. Cats in Action brought Inca and her babies inside until the kittens were 6 weeks old, when Inca was spayed and returned to her outdoor colony. The little nuggets are having a grand ole time wrestling and playing in their foster room. Hopefully they will be adopted soon!

It's kitten season! There are little kittens under porches all over Chicago. Luckily we were able to rescue these 5 little nuggets during a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) project and get them off the streets.

Cats in Action TNR'd Jackson in Chicago's East Garfield Park neighborhood in October. We encountered him again at another nearby colony and boy, was he hungry! This DSH white and gray sweetie shoved his entire face into a cup of canned cat food, turning his white cheeks brown! As he basked in the sun, he cleaned himself off. We are so happy that he is now neutered and vaccinated.

If the cat were to flip the trap upside down, would those rings then slide to a position where the door would then be able to be pushed open?
I’ve been trapping for about a year now and learned leaving a trail of food doesn’t work, because they’ll just grab what’s at the front and walk right back out of the trap. I’ve lost a bunch of possible TNR kitties that way. Better to leave just one scoop or small dish at the back.
Thank you for info on where to leave the food. So nervous because someone is trapping cats I have been feeding for 8 years and not telling me what happened to them and only 2 left. I am heartbroken.

I'm doing cats spay release . I have two and this is the best trap . Love it .
The space between the bait door and the frame is wide enough for a cat to reach in and sample the food without entering the trap. I know, I am trying to trap a wise cat and it keeps getting the food without getting trapped.
That's good to know. I use a small bowl on top of cardboard so it doesn't slide.
What Tru Catch trap do you recommend for adult females and large males. Thanks
