    Brother this is so refreshing to see; an actual understanding and clear demonstration of the body mechanics without the woo woo!
    Thank you.

    This is actually one of the best Taiji videos out there. Good job. This is what a lot of people are looking for on CZcams and cannot find. You are giving away the secrets. How many teachers and students don't understand the forms they practice?

    Fantastic video, I have come to understand over the last few years that Taijiquan (Wu) is more or less Shuai Jiao combat wrestling. I'm looking forward for future videos on Wu Taiji.

      Taiji is more anti grappling than a form of wrestling.

      @@dbuck1964 In Wu Taiji there is a lot of close quarter grappling and throws. Not a system that goes to the ground, but will sent people to the ground. What you choose to do after the throw will depend on what you are good at.

      @@Keitenrenbu That is just one physical aspect of Tai Chi. There's much more. The yin moves are the really interesting ones, where you counter hard with soft, or tui shou, where you manipulate your opponent without them realising what happens until they find themselves twisted into knots or tumbling to the ground.
      Yes, you can use Tai Chi for grappling and wrestling, also for explosive punching and kicking, if you want. But that's not what distinguishes Tai Chi from other martial arts. That would be the woo woo, as someone here calls it. 🙃

    @Aamir Rafi - Tai Chi Space Hi, why does your head turn to the right when you empty and do the first beginning move?

      Not sure why, I was aware I was doing it but noticed I don't do it in practice. Maybe because I was demonstrating!

    I was paying close attention as ive practiced taijiquan for many years. But then you introduced politics ?
    Lost one potential subscription. Its tai chi not a political platform (wish you'd stated the politics sooner so i could of gone sooner ). Background confusing. Citar (india ) not guitar. Roosters tail not birds tail. Less noise more attention to the art....

    • @AamirRafiTaiChiSpace
      @AamirRafiTaiChiSpace  Před měsícem

      I'm not sure what you mean by politics? I just use simple names of the forms to make it easier for people to remember :)

      @zatrusofnietzche2281 攬雀尾 translates as grasping or holding birds tail, perhaps you are confusing this term with another technique- golden rooster stand on one leg.
