I've been doing a lot of research lately about wicca and paganism and it's so fascinating to me. I remember when I was 10 or 11, I had an (unfortunately short-lived) crystal/rock obsession (mostly and more specifically geodes), and I used to get excited about the solstices and equinoxes without even knowing much about them. I had learned about them in school one day and thought they were really cool for some reason, and for a year I would wake up early on those mornings to watch the sun rise and I wouldn't even know why. I dunno, I guess I've just always had a slight attraction to these things. but I absolutely love videos like these, they're so soothing, and to me they're pretty awe inspiring

It's SO wonderful, and you and my fiance have the exact same cauldron!! :))) So cool! He has a penchant for all things copper. I adore velvet a well, and have black velvet on my altar now. Your sphere does look like smoky quartz to me... the fairy dress is adorable!! Just lovely!

Love that horn. Love your room!!! Soo nicely decorated did u know that horn is used in europe to drink alcahol from? You cant put it down like a cup or glads so u would need to drink the entirree thing or else its disrespectfull...just a fun fact.

The crystal ball is a quartz citrine, you can see the gold and yellow reflect on it, smokey quartz have reflect grey to black, hope this help ☺

Waw! Love the altar! I've always been into this without realising it. I've always played around with Tarot cards, loved nature and see everyone as energy being. And so I recently picked up a book about Wicca. And I pretty much decided to give it a try. I kinda wanna make everything on my Altar myself and in the book I was reading they were talking about purification of the props you'd put on there. So now my question was should I purify/bless every piece of equipment that I'd use to create the props on my altar. Or just create the props and them purify and bless them.
I wanted to ask you cause of all the channels on CZcams I could relate to you the most. ♡

And I thought that was the easiest way as well. since I wanted to paint as well and blessing/purifying every brush and paint seemed like an over doing it a little.

Do you mean cleaning on cleansing? xD Either way, usually I just give the surface a wipe down and smudge it with sage, then I cleanse my crystals with running water and sage any non-crystal altar items and then I set it all up :)

I’ve been setting up my altar on my desk whenever I need to use it. My desk is where I work - I have stressed and cried a lot over school work here. Do you think setting up my altar there is a bad idea due to the negative energy surrounding my desk? Or would it, on the other hand, influence my desk space and make the energy more positive?
I’m thinking of putting up shelves and if I do then I’ll put my altar there possibly... But I keep all my crystals in a drawer in my desk and then I wouldn’t know where to put them lol!

Well personally, I think it would probably be best to do the research first before talking about it with your parents so that you can answer any questions they have with confidence. :) Try reading some books on the subject if you can - even if they're just from a local library. I'm personally not Wiccan so I don't know of any specifically Wicca books, but maybe just have a look around for them and see what you find/enjoy reading. All the best

Alters don't have requirements do they? I celebrate the gods and goddesses but I don't stop there I admire angels and hindu ways. I want to have all of it together but I do have my hindu items on my desk instead of on my alter.
Shannon Fisher nope. mine has various items that reflect the "aspects" (that I appreciate/follow/support) of pretty much every religion on the planet. Pictures on wall behind, small icons on the altar....as well as a few humorous items, ie- a small lifelike toy platypus cos "god" has a sense of humour😀...a lot of the items have been found...cow napkin holder (figured out it's painted to look like a brahma cow-so, "Holy Cow"-hindu....)there's no wrong way to build an altar. and mine changes as it wants to. But I'm definitely a believer in laughter, fun, humour....life is meant to be joyful. Peace

Its way late and really none of my business but why do you have your pentical or pentagram upside down? Just curious? Seems counterintuitive to working with angles and or wicca in general. More of a certain type of witchcraft. Again just curious and I don't mean to offend. Blessed be.
I like the whole altar but the upside down pentacle still somehow ticked me off. Being a Wiccan, I’ve always worshipped the upright pentacle with the spirit point going upward. I’ve always known that spirit is the top and the most sacred. I’m not judging at all but what is the point of the horned pentacle (like a goat with two horns on top)??
