In this video, I show you my updates witch altar. My altar consists of stuff I've collected over many years.
I in no way mean to say that you should have a lot of stuff in order to be a witch. You're a witch no matter how many crystals, herbs, and trinkets you have.
What I do hope to do is, inspire you in maybe how you'd like to set up your altar or things you could add to it over time.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy it!

This was fantastic! Thank you, you have a great altar. That plant that wasn't doing it for you is a Christmas cactus. You just need to repot it into a bigger pot and it will love you again. Love that window covering too ❤
Thank you for the tour. I don't think you should Worry too much about burning sage. If you think about it anything that you use that is from another culture is cultural appropriation. For example your Egyptian items, or Evil Eye items.
Sage has been scientifically proven to kill bacteria and other microbes. I say go for it! I'm from New Mexico by the way. If it makes you feel better you can research the way that indigenous people use sage, and what it represents to them, and use it in the same manner as they do.
I have heard that they regard sage as one of their ancestors, that is now manifested in a plant. 😊

I love that the dutch word for matches is "Lucifers" 😂 in german its the very describtive (as always 😅) "Streichhölzer"

As an indigenous woman, I have to say, I'm sick of this "cultural appropriation " bs. You ARE allowed to use sage bundles. You ARE allowed to have sage bundles. What mother earth provides, she provides to ALL. Our sacred smudge wands have 3 sacred herbs so using just plain sage is just fine.
Also, FYI, a pentagram is nothing more than a 5 pointed star. Putting the circle around it, makes it a pentacle. So, that is a pentacle on your altar cloth, not a pentagram. Blessed be, lovely.

You can use sage, just don’t call it smudging. Call it smoke cleansing. Many different cultures use sage.
