I saw an interview with the Producer and he said he specifically wanted Dimash and had the song written for him. When he sent the demo tape to Dimash, he had to hire three different singers to sing it because of the range! I firmly believe that Dimash should be singing the theme song to a James Bond movie in the future!!
This is the theme song for the Italian Sci Fi movie Creators of the Past starring William Shatner (the guy with the eye telescope thingy) and Gerard Depardieu. Notable is that the Director heard Dimash's voice and had to have him for his movie. It's too bad the movie wasn't widely seen due to COVID. Most interesting to me is that it's an Italian movie, but this theme song is in English. A choice that means they were expecting a broader audience.
The language in the movie is also in English.

The director googled the best voice and Dimash came up. He had 3 singers to put this song together and Dimash agreed to do it. Due to the pandemic This was to be a huge premiere in Italy. Never happened. Dimash did this live in the Slavic Bazaar. Stunning who needs a solo guitar when you have Dimash. You should hear his newest songs SOS. He did Streaming just a few days ago too.

I saw the film in October last year and it is very interesting.
Too bad it only came out in my country, in Italy, which is the country where the film was made and produced. The director, Piergiuseppe Zaia, said that the song (Music by Piergiuseppe Zaia and Lyrics by Antonella Maggio) was so difficult that only Dimash could sing it.The film should be released in the rest of the world at the end of the pandemic.

This is one of my favorite songs. I got goosebumps all over every time Dimash starts his "guitar solo". Don't you agree? That his voice sounds like a guitar when he goes into that falsetto voice. One of many movie sountracks that Dimash has performed. This one for the Movie Creators. The Past an Italian science fiction film that was premiered on 8th October 2020 just after the first lockdown in Italy. Directed by Piergiuseppe Zaia. Written by Piergiuseppe Zaia and Eleonora Fani, it stars Eleonora Fani, Jennifer Mischiati, Bruce Payne and Per Fredrik Åsly in the lead roles, and features Gérard Depardieu and William Shatner as guest stars. At the premier Pierguiseppe locked the doors, then stood in front of the audience and told them all he could about Dimash as he absolutely loves him and wants to let the world know about him, and said he wants them to listen to him sing the OST at the end. Of course a few tried to leave but were ushered back to their seats until the whole of the end credits had ended. Maybe you can react to the movie on your new channel 😄💖

Idk if there are religious topics in the movie, but I saw a comment that the lyrics make most sense if they are about the soul leaving the body and going across endless dimensions to heaven - the source of creation. Also another fan commented that if you check out the soundtrack, there is an instrumental version of this song, called "The Story of Jesus".
I think the instrumental version was the first, and afterwards the composer used the melody for this song. It was used as the end credits.

I'm glad you recognize his pronunciations. As a former ESL (English as a second language) trained educator I hear the nuances in how people speak/sing. I think the the reason Dimash emphasizes the the "t" in is that maybe the pt sound is not common in Kazakh or Russian. This is just a guess from years of working with students who with a diverse background in first/home languages.

The composer (Piergiuseppe Zaia) initially composed this as an orchestral piece for his film, "Creators: The Past". It's on the soundtrack of the film, and the title of the piece is "The Story of Jesus". When asked about the song, Zaia said that it's about the Garden of Gethsemane. After lyrics were written for the composition (under the title "Across Endless Dimensions"), the composer said that the song, for obvious reasons, should be sung by the most beautiful voice in the world. His co-producer started googling for the most beautiful voice in the world, and she quickly came up with Dimash's name. After watching some of Dimash's youtube videos and being mind-blown, she showed them to Zaia, who immediately contacted Dimash's team. Zaia created a demo recording for Dimash to hear the song. It required 3 different singers to make the demo, and even then the operatic soprano couldn't reach the highest notes at the end. Dimash agreed to go to Italy to record this track for the film's closing credits. Sony released Dimash's track last year with a video, using green screen and FX in which Zaia inserted Dimash into scenes from his science fiction film...so lots of spaceships, aliens and such. This new, just-released video you reacted to is Dimash's own creation/production, as he imagines the song. For me, this video seems closer to the original intent of the composition. I would love to know what Piergiuseppe Zaia thinks of it.

By the time they found Dimash, he wasn't able to do it as his schedule didn't permit him. All of the sudden his schedule opened up and here we are!!
