Great reaction! Thanks a lot! I`m 50 years old now and I´ve never listened to a voice like that before. Three months ago, hearing that song for the first time, I had a sort of out-of-body-experience. I felt like having glimpsed into eternity. Completely stunned and touched, I wasn`t able to utter any word for minutes. This voice`s melted my heart and made me cry a lot since then. I have been trying to summarize what I feel, when I hear him sing, and you did it: "Glimpsed into eternity", could have not said it better.

You just heard the best voice on planet Earth! It is the first song of 14 he performed at the 2017 I 'm a Singer competition in China. With this first song he became very popular. He has millions of fans around the world. He is from Kazakhstan. He sings in 12 languages. He is 25 years old, his height is 191 cm (6.3 inches). Now there are many singers in the world with excellent voices. But Dimash has a unique voice of 6 octaves and with fantastic technique. He brings a new direction of music as well. He can sing every musical direction (pop, classic, folk, opera, rap...). His voice takes the whole row of the piano and another note. Dimash since childhood is interested in Eastern philosophy, loves sports, he was engaged in swimming and martial arts. He can also play 7 different instruments, composing songs. He is just a very great artist, a clean, bright and kind man despite his youth. And very educated. He is really special. Continue react him and you will see!

I have already watched your video for the fourth time because I like to see how surprised Dimashs leaves you, continues to react to it and will continue to surprise you in each of his songs
This performance is like Dimash's upfront resume. No other way to describe it. This was from episode 1, Singer 2017.....a reality singing competition for established/professional and popular singers in China ....as such, it is imperative for Dimash to showcase all he can do and the best of what he can do here. Dimash was the only foreign competitor and the youngest. He was invited as a wild card by producer and organiser of this top and highly popular show. He was the only unknown here. After the broadcasting of this episode (this performance) he became overnight/instant celebrity in China (more than 600mil ppl viewed this performance premiere). Today, Dimash is one of the very, very top singing celebrity (foreign).....his 1st physical album sales....No.8 in China.....his concert in New York's Barclays Centre on December 10th, 2019 sold out.....his performances there earned him multiple standing ovations from the audiences there.

And you just scratched the surface probably you have just seen 5 %. He is incredible. His vocal range is about 6 octaves, he sang in 12 languages, genres pop, kasakh folkmusic, opera, rap... he can do anything he is pleased. He is a Multiinstrumentalist too. He is trained in singing since he was 5 years old and now he is 25. he studied classical and contemporary singing and composing. Once he said: if you cut my brain you will find music and if you cut my heart you will find music too. Keep on reacting too him, it will be an amazing journey. I want to suggest: sinful passion / opera 2 / Mademoiselle Hyde / Diva dance (from 5th Element) performed live!
I've did a bit of research and found out about the languages and that he's a multiinstrumentalist! I will check a lot more clips from him because he's really amazing! Thank you for the great suggestions!

I'm so glad you noticed his tenor B4. Not many people realize how amazing this is, but it's a really really high note for most tenors. His instrument is so amazing that you don't immediately realize how high it is, unless you try to sing it or listen it compared to others!! I'm in love with his tenor, as much as with his soprano registers!!
I would highly recommend checking out "Sinful Passion", your head will explode once more, as Dimash deploys some more amazing techniques and you'll probably hear the highest belt you've ever listened to!
Also, "Ogni PIetra" from his Arnau concert is an *insane* song, that was specifically written for Dimash's immense range!! One of the best moments in Dimash's career, in my opinion.

Они столько всего находят в ней, что её исполнение Димашем может служить «учебным пособием» по вокалу. /////////////// Сначала наш преподаватель с первых музыкальных фраз начал со знанием дела объяснять, что, как и почему. И, наверное, думал, что он так запросто разберет песню по косточкам до самого конца. После повтора окончания песни, весь уже в мурашках, замолчал, обняв голову руками, печально покачал головою и сказал: «Все, я не могу это слушать больше, потому что мой разум взорвется. Прослушав всю песню, в некоторых ее частях просто не мог поверить, как хорошо он спел. Вероятно, он - лучший певец в мире, потому что: 1) отличная техника в его голосе, 2) контроль дыхания, 3) большой диапазон, 4) большой эмоциональный аспект, 5) он выглядит очень естественно на сцене, 6) он действительно чувствует себя уверенно. I've never heard any other vocalist who is able to give me goosebumps every time I listen to them sing. He conveys the pure emotion in every song he sings, so much so that I have teared up without knowing the meaning of the lyrics. He is just amazing.
I haven't either. I'm an aficionado of opera, but never, ever, not once has any opera performance given me goosebumps, much less, made me cry. Dimash, and only Dimash does that, even if I've watched these videos well over a hundred times, I continue to get emotional.

I really enjoyed your comments. I have noticed lately ( since Dimash has become famous) that there are several male singers that are trying (I repeat trying) to imitate him. But all they are trying to do is hit the high notes. Dimash is so much more than just high notes. As you said he is able to easily pull his audience into his song with his sincerity, voice and body language. I am 65 and have never heard a singer that can consistently move my heart. I would love to see him in person before I die.

Hey, dear. I am 63 and fell in love with Dimash in October of 2017 when I first head him. I want to see him before I die as well. These 9 children are my grandchildren...pls friend me on fb. You'll see me and my 3 daughters on that page. They each have 3 children.

I have been a "dear" to dimash since I first heard him. I listen to him daily, comment often, and love him more than any singer I've ever heard. I'm 65 so I've heard plenty, from Elvis Presley, Beatles, and Queen to Pavarotti. I love all genres of music and Dimash sings them all. He's my favorite, and I know, he always will be.

Ты совершенно не готов к его сюрпризам!))) И даже песня может быть одна и та же, но Димаш часто импровизирует, так что исполнения отличаются, и этим невозможно насмотреться и наслушаться! I loved your reaction to Dimash, its so wonderful to listen to someone so knowledgeable! Dimash was 22 years old when he sang this, but has been taking voice lessons since he was 5 years old. He comes from a musical family, but also is very genetically gifted with his vocal chords. If you haven't done many Dimash reactions, you should do them all. No matter how many people react/analyze Dimash's songs, his fans never, never get tired of hearing more reactions. I've seen over 100 and am delighted to find yours! Dimash's voice, looks, and personality have an instant magnetic affect on many people, who are then addicted to him. Many, and I mean many, fans believe him to be an angel. I'm not so sure about that but his affect on people is extraordinary and very hard to explain. I have never reacted to any singer in my life like I have to Dimash. I hope you continue your Dimash journey, you will not regret it.

Welcome to the journey! Dimash was only 22 in the video you reacted to, and he is 25 now, and as hard as it is to believe he is even better now. I saw his live solo performance in NYC December 10 2019, and I still haven't come down from the adrenaline high of hearing him live. He is an amazing live performer.
If I get the chance I will make sure to see him live, he's amazing!
@@HofTheStage He is touring in Russia and Europe in Febuary and March. March 20 in Prague and 3 concerts in Germany just before and after Prague. Also Latvia and Kiev during this tour as well as several in Russia, I think in Feb. It is well worth the effort to go see him!

BTW CZcams is cracking down on reaction videos on copyright grounds. There's a good chance that this video may get you a strike. To avoid that you can replace the Dimash video portion with a similar performance from his own official channel, such as the one from Slavic Bazaar. This is what another voice teacher did yesterday. Any videos from Dimash's official YT channel is completely safe to react to. Avoid using any videos from Chinese TV stations but feel free to watch them on your own. :-)

Dimash sings on the highest real sopranos, and not just falsetto, like most men. In a recent interview, he described how his teachers taught soprano singing from childhood. Dimash has a classical, opera school of vocals, he was taught to sing just like that.
He once said there was a shortage of girls singing soprano in his school choir so they put him in to sing with them. He said it was ok as he got to meet lots of pretty girls.
Nature endowed him with unique ligaments, so he retained the ability to sing in a high key and after age-related changes in his voice. The gift of God and great work from childhood is Dimash.
His father is a singer and composer, his mother is a soprano singer.)
