If anyone's interested, the frog in the vid is called a rain frog. There are many different species of rain frogs and yes they do look inflated balloons. They will let out that cry in order to scare off predators. An interesting thing to note is that they can't hop like other frog species, instead they just walk.
That cool squeaky frog is a Breviceps adspersus, also known as common rain frog. They are really cool and different from most frogs because they burrow underground deep enough to reach damp soil and then get their water by absorbing it through their skin.

The sound the frog makes is used to scare away common predators such as birds and snakes, as the noise sounds like a distressed bird which means danger to birds, and danger to snakes who are scared of birds.

1:38 That seems very weird/busy place for train track. That train track doesn't even get noticed very easily. The track traffic sign is white, which easily disappears into the background. We tend to slow down before the train track, and look at the train track in both directions even if the boom is not down or the light is on. The traffic signs here in Finland are yellow and easy to notice. (Sorry for my bad English).
