- A project very personal and very important to me. Just like with New Jersey, I had done a (much simpler) compilation 10+ years ago, but I felt like I really wanted to dive into an era that had produced the band's (for me) most intimate and touching album. For weeks, I pieced together which performances I wanted to take, whether there was a chance of replacing it with audio upgades and so on. After a week of compiling it, I finally sunk into the era that had helped me through some of the toughest moments of my life. Each and every track has been restored, from detailed colour, gamma corrections to AI enhancements to tearing each audio track apart in order to find a spectacular sound. Maybe sometimes my excitement got the better of me, but hey, sometimes you gotta take chances ;)
Furthermore, I also changed the running order of the "show", simply because I felt like doing so and to keep it more interesting during the premiere. It starts out with the first song written for that album and ends with the song that usually closed out the concerts. Background information about each song on the album as well as an "intro commentary" by Jon should round this one out. After having worked on it intensively, but not in a hurry for the last two weeks, I got the "I wanna show this to the world" urgelast night, leading to me having a nightshift last night because I felt I needed to let it go.

These Days is such an incredible album. It just saddens me we never got a live performance of Hearts Breaking Even and If That’s What It Takes. Two of my favorite songs on the record.

Did you add the track names on the commentary parts? How’d you find the font?
Yes. The audio was taken from a rare promo CD where Jon talked about each track of the album. The video was made from an alternate edit of These Days, together with a fan-made instrumental of (It's Hard) Letting You Go. The font is called "gim" and can be found on the internet ;)
