Yes I am aware of that. I meant that it's more of a French thing because it's in the French language. I'm saying I've never heard people say chemise while speaking English. Also, I live near Vancouver as well. I'm Canadian I've just never heard people mix chemise into English before.
I'm from Oklahoma City, USA. There are a ton of great artists in America who are undiscovered and will never be nationally recognized but they are able to mantain a cult like following and make money. Canada has alot of great talent, I can acknowledge that, they just have a very low population compared to us.
