Use on pump, semi auto weakens it.
It actually has a stupid long range 1 shot while it's in pump action, you just have to aim like dead center on their body
You also can't miss a single pellet in the spread to one shot, so throw on that Bryson Choke and always fully ADS before shooting

Crazy how you make this gun look good when it might legitimately be the worst shotgun yet. Speaking of shotguns, jawbreaker muzzle got fixed and I would love to see you use the again.
The reason it's so bulky is because it can go into pump or semi automatic mode. Because most games just have it locked to pump mode for no reason it's just a very bulky pump shotgun.
SPAS- is like a gambling gun.

The game developers are nuts if they are implementing some real-world mechanics like point-blank hit markers, critical longshots, or stable accuracy.
Tip: Use pump action mode, always aim for the best pellet spread and use attachments to improve aim down sight and also pellet spread too.
Also the barrel that increase range and 10 rounds is the way.
Semi auto its just a hit market machine, pump is better and try to aim always, unless is point blanc or like 2-3 meters, don’t aim if the crosshair is almost full in the enemy

SPAS-12 ENTHUSIASTS UNITE! I'm happy it's back, especially with the iconic collapsed/fold over stock look. I wanted to say that it's a bit inconsistent but after watching your respawn mode montage, I think it's just an accuracy based skill issue on my part. 😅
No, it really is stupidly inconsistent. Good aim or not, the gun wiffs you, not the other way around
@@shadowtitan8545good to know I'm not entirely the problem. I love using it though, especially with the folded stock but man. There have been quite a few midrange gunfights I lost because it hitmarkered instead.

It could be due to some weird calculation with the extra pellets that get shot with any of the barrels attached. The pellets might be doing a little less damage individually. Same bug the lockwood 680 had.

The spas is pretty fun; I think the only downside this weapon has is the fact Semi Auto kinda just deletes all of your damage and makes it worse than the Expedite. I still think it’s cool nonetheless they allow us to freely swap the firing modes, even if semi auto is basically useless
Of course however, every weapon gets a buff whenever it’s in handler’s hands
past like 3 meters you need to hit all 7 pellets to get a one shot... thats why it feels so inconsistent, but if you hit all 7 it has a 20 meter one shot potential
In pump mode you get better ads in semi auto you get better hipfire
Feels like the pellet spread radius closes with distance
Now THIS reminds me of og mw2, I cant believe its back 🥰

Does it have a headshot multiplier? It really seems like it where if a pellet can/does hit the head thats what gives the one shot. Not sure how the headshot "award" is given, do the pellets hit separately and count separately?
New ammo attachment idea. "Magnetic buckshot" at a certain range the pellets come together and form a slug lol

Try it with the muzzle it comes with, as well as the grip no stock 900 heavy barrel, dragons breath, use in semi canted sights, given it takes more shots but it more consistent

okay now i understand how this shit was fucking me up in HC yesterday wow
I tried it out yesterday and, in the firing range, for pump action mode: aiming dead centre at the chest of the 10m manikin always results in a one shot kill, however, equipping the long barrel makes this NOT able to one shot kill, I tried it in game, with and without the long barrel, unequiping it was more consistent, very weird. Hip fire for pump action mode is complete garbage. For semi auto mode: hip fire is feasible, you can make the four sides of the reticle tight, consistent two shot for the 10m manikin. However, it was almost impossible to kill the 20m manikin with both firing modes with or without the long barrel. Same case in game.
After rewatching at x.25 speed, I can confirm the p90 kill took 5 shots

Ran it as a sniper long barrel wire stock, laser slugs and 6.3x scope was hilariously fun still randomly Garbage consistency though.
Ah the SPAS-12 or wait no Reclaimer 18 to avoid Californian gun laws, it's quite fun to mess around with and quite satisfying if you get those sweet sweet one-shots

Semi is very situational, and is very bad when it comes to damage Per shot, but can be good at times. It’s weird.
I can't use this gun in anything other than hardcore. I was trying to work on the camos for it in regular small map playlists and getting 3-4 hitmarkers with my gun literally touching an enemy and shooting at the enemies upper body.
