George Weah is Africa's greatest legend and was the first to win a Ballon d'Or for his continent. His magic and lethality in front of goal were able to appease civil wars and a ferocious famine in his native Liberia. However, his courage was unrelenting, and one play in particular would represent his conviction. Though Weah decided to pursue new paths after his retirement and would go on to become his nation's president, things wouldn’t turn out well for him.
