Hello samar bhai just ended up watching ur podcast about the itihas of shree jagannath mahaprabhu and I want to thank you for bringing such an informative podcast , there are so many things as an odia I don't know or unaware of ..the points or question u asked during the hole episode thanks for educating . (Just one request please bring more episodes on the glorious and rich itihas of Kalinga like how our sadhava and Kalinga king spreads the sanatana dharma in South East Asia and their influence in South east Asian countries or the trade link between the ancient Kalinga and South east Asia ) Hope you will consider this as a request !!

Hello !! The point/fact/opinion Ahwaan jii mentioned in the podcast about the holy trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, Maheswar) whether it's correct or not, I am unsure. But I have seen a video of Chief Priest of Puri Temple, Mahanayak Sri Ramachandra Badapanda, where the similar question was asked to him "Is Maa Subhadra same as Brahma ?". To this he answered "The primary forms are Shukla Vishnu, Narayani and this is a very confidential (Gupta Tatwa) topic and may be discussed later." So in my opinion, this is an another concept and topic. What Ahwaan jii explained about this is truly his perception and belief what I believe and there's nothing wrong in that.

Dont discuss nonsensical topic like gender of Jagannath. He is lord of the universe. He can take anyform . The form jagannath is male form . He has brother and sister and maa laxmi is his wife .
Yes sir, but "the entity/energy Shree Jagannath" when considered as form of Krishna has a brother & sister when considered as form of Vishnu has a wife Lakhsmi. Jagannath can be Rama or Bamana or Nrusingha or Maa Kali, Elephant, Lotus flower or or neem tree anything. But the idea of Jagannath is supreme & ultimate. Jagannath is the Parambrahma and Parambrahma has absolutely No Gender! Nirakara. This is what is intended here. Jagannath culture is totally different & unique sir. Lord Jagannath is a form containing both male and female aspects . Jagannath is referred to as "milita tanu" which meams the mixed body of radha(or lakshi swarupa) and vishnu . Which can also be observed through the fact that jagannath ji is seen wearing "nakachana" or the nath on the nose and mangtika ,which are jewellery worn by women . Moreover , god can be seen in any form in accordance to the feelings of the devotee .

So it can either or. Coz Jagannath can be considered as Kali also. Jagannath culture is special because of its own uniqueness & idea where Devi Subhadra is considered as the source Shakti adishakti & Balaram Jagannath as Purusha - Purushottama. This is not exactly Sankyo philosophy as here in Jagannath culture as in Sannkya philosophy Black is Tamsic but here Jagannath is black but is Satwic & Balabhadra white is Tamsic and Subhadra yellow as Rajsic. So Jagannath culture has a total different & stand alone unique concept here. Its difficult to understand Jagannath culture & Pls listen to the full podcast ge has noted all the points very nicely and accurately. The taste, colour, texture and production methods of the rasgullas of both the states Odisha & Bengal are different. If you taste them, you will surely recognise what separates them from each other.
Thus, Banglar rosogolla and Odia rasgullas are actually different in nature, and they belong to their individual states. Each has its own identity.
