That Warbird/ Ms. Marvel is exactly the type of figure my sister wanted to have when we'd play together with my X-Men toys as kids. We watched the 90s X-Men cartoon growing up together.
The Wal-Mart and K-Mart by where we lived as kids never got the Storm, Rogue or Phoenix toys for her to play with me.
Our family watched Star Trek: The Next Generation together every Saturday night, I had a lot of TNG action figures and the bridge set.
My sister had Dr. Crusher and Counselor Troi, she would pretend they were Jean Grey and Rogue when we'd play X-Men.
Glad we’re getting more prequel black series. Padme and Anakin were so overdue.
A Senator Palpatine would be great next.
Phantom Menace Senator Palps would be nice, but I want a ROTS Chancellor Palps.
Then we'll need Saesee Tiin and the Iridonian jedi that replaced Eeth Koth [Aegan Kolis, I think??] to complete his arrest scene.

Robo, you didn't talk about the imports. Figuarts did a semi-big drop of a bunch of upgrades classics. Stormtroopers with green eye lenses, a much shinier C3PO, Vader with cloth under robes... just a lot of reasons to buy them again. Ouch

@@RoboDontKnow no, not yet. Apparently they will give us more into on the upgrades in the near future. The pictures look compelling, but I do hate repurchasing figures for small improvements.

The foot peg thing with ghostrider is comic accurate. His back could transform from a more chopper style setup to a more street bike style (hed either be riding it more like a chopper or a crotch rocket)

The Captain Enoch two-pack would've been great if it included 2 extra Night Trooper variant helmets. I'm just happy that Walmart exclusive was actually readily available.

Don't know if you have noticed but Dagan has only one arm, I wonder how will they approach it. Piece to cover arm hole would be the best to allow for customization.
Maybe I wouldn’t be surprised if it has the blue force arm he had at the end of his boss fight. The pipeline image had one arm so you might be right we will see.

I hope we can continue to get various night troopers as two packs for Ahsoka series. Morgan Elsbeth with Nightsister tattoos and sword + another night trooper variation, Ahsoka the white + another night trooper variation.
The obvious thing is to name the warthog "Smooth Jazz".

You were right to double-check the Sky Hawk's name, Robo, because it's not its only name. At some point after 2005, Hasbro actually lost their trademark to name "Sky Hawk" and so when the 25th Anniversary version came out in 2009, it was called "Ghost Hawk."
It wasn't until 2014 when Hasbro re-secured the name and used it for the convention-exclusive Steel Brigade version. Though, that _was_ that last ever Sky/Ghost Hawk toy they ever produced. So who knows if they still have it.
I could get that Ghost Rider just for the flame effects to use on the REAL Ghost Rider that I already have. :)

Hmm...glow in the dark Batman. I almost wish more companies would use a glow in the dark wash for their glow in the dark stuff, if they aren't planning on going with straight up glow in the dark plastic.

Ever since the Star Wars team did Darth Malgus from The Old Republic, I've been waiting for them to do a Shae Vizla in the Black Series (they did one for the Vintage Collection) At the very least a Satele Shan would make sense to fight against Malgus.

I also would like to know what the different hair styles would look like on Warbird. I wish Legends would do what Classified does and make the hair options swappable with the heads. Be a lot cooler if they did.
I personally think Sidious and Yoda should have been a two pack instead of Yoda and Gree. Makes more sense and Army Builders shouldn't be in a 2 pack with a non army builder. Like the Captain Enoch and Night Trooper should have just been a Night Trooper 2 pack with Enoch as a single release.

Yeah, I am loving X-Men '97. It's taking stories I wasn't even into in the comics, and making them work. I have never cared more about Cyclops, Pryor, etc. Also, goddamn it, give us a new Jubilee, Hasbro.

I completed Star Wars Jedi Survivor and it took even me a minute to remember who Dagan is. There are at least half a dozen better, more memorable and more significant characters from the Jedi games than Dagan so I can only imagine they're just making him because they have already have parts to reuse or want to re-use parts from him for something else. I'd rather have a Merrin from FO and Survivor, Cere from both, Greez from both and Bode from Survivor. Hell, I'd rather get a Turgle than a Dagan.
I like that Warbird/ Ms. Marvel figure, but it's got some issues for me.
The gold symbol seems off to me, like when they make Iron Man toys in gold and red instead of the yellow and gold from the comics and cartoons.
Definitely a fan of the bigger mask, but not a fan of the normal eyes. I prefer the all white mask eyes from the comics and cartoons.
Wouldn't mind a head sculpt of a battle damaged mask with one all-white comic accurate eye and one normal eye showing through mask damage.
Your bringing up Rogue from the 80s Uncanny X-Men comics makes me want a Rogue head sculpt.
I remember in the 80s comics how Carol's psyche would take over for Rogue at times. She had a friendship with Psylocke completely independent from Rogue.
That pink and purple cover to Uncanny X-Men #247 is burned into my mind's eye, with Master Mold being sucked through the Siege Perilous portal, Dazzler holding on to Havok and Havok hanging on to Carol in control of Rogue's body and wearing her Ms. Marvel costume.

My big knock on the new Maul is the new BS knee articulation. I'm glad they're using old molds for Quigon or he couldn't do his iconic jedi meditation pose. That was the big issue with the Mando armorer. I can't decide if the price is steep or not. Figures look good and they've got their necessary accessories but I want that Dooku saber swipe effect. I love my original BS maul and first issue SHF but do I need updates. An embrassment of riches.

Fans Hobby makes really good figures overall. For those that dont buy transformers theyre known for making masterpiece scale stuff, so the pricier stuff but definitely good quality.
I hope that Rage toys Bebop samurai comes with a weapon other then that tiny fan. Maybe a big sword of a club would be nice. Those two blasters look great for regular bebop I hope he comes with both and not just one.

You really should give Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor play throughs. They are both really good games and i personally love the characters the games introduce.
The old Toybiz Warbird was ehh, The 2013 Hasbro Warbird was good but the brand new 2024 Target exclusive Carol Danvers aka Warbird is better because she comes with a little bit more and the head sculpts look more beautiful and updated.
