Hell yes Robo! Krrsantan is looking and moving so much better after all your work. I’m glad we could help inspire you on this one! Thanks for the shoutout! -Nate
Hey you guys made it!! Uncle robo noticed you. I was doing the Leo pointing meme when he said your channel name.
This had some serious Bob Ross vibes and I’m here for it. Both entertaining and relaxing
That's what I was hoping for, thanks!
Happy little scars
Robo = Bob Ross with action figures
This type of video would have done wonders for me when I first got into action figures. I remember really questioning stuff like using boiled water vs. a hair dryer and how to paint, especially when people would just say "I did this thing" instead of _how_ they did it.
Still hoping we see a big Play day soon, but really dig this type of video from you Robo. This could honestly be a new series of videos. Like, Robo's Custom Classroom or something.
Oh, I spent many a year wondering if I should do this or that, if this or that would work, skipping lots of things because I didn't want to mess up my figure. But after ......geez....30 years of customizing and playing I take a lot of those kind of things for granted. I think "that's basics, why would I record it because everyone should know......ohhhh, okay, not everyone is an old man like me." Now that I have the proper space I can show things like that. There will still be big Play Days, where I can't fit the process stuff in, because sometimes I get in a groove and then suddenly I'm spraying sealer and wondering where the past 5 hours went, but I'll do this every now and then too.
Other than Beef Boss I think Black Krrsantan might your most featured figure in Play Days.
For a single character, yeah, though X-Men Outback is a contender if we're talking a specific theme.
Drybrushing silver highlights on "metal" accesories is so satisfying.
It really is, just go at it and if it's too much, it just looks more aged. Or easy to take back off. It's win win.
Oh man, this may be an all-time favorite video of mine now. Love when you get to customize! Thanks for showing your process.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it, I had a lot of fun shooting it!
I love these type of videos cutting dremeling painting that's what really enhanced this hobby for me. It helped take me out of the mindset of buying and preordering everything under the sun, and really help me feel satisfied with where my collection is at. Cheers uncle robo 🍻
It's really gotten me into a happier place overall, where I don't mind so much when a figure isn't perfect because I have fun getting it more towards that point myself.
Thank you so much for this video, Robo! I don't even collect much Star Wars, let alone Black Series, but it's sooooo appreciated to get to see the PROCESS of some of these customs and modifications. More of these, please! 🙏 #TuesdayCrew 🔪🔪🔪
I like the normal play days, but this was great getting to watch the total process on one figure from start to finish.
More Robo Custom Play Days!
You are the Bob Ross of Action Figure Customizing
"Robo is the best!! Robo's #1!!"
A little wrestling reference for ya!! Lol
More of this, please! Gives me all sorts of ideas...and it's quite relaxing watching you paint!
You’re a maniac with the Dremel! Love it!
Haha, I do tend to get a little rowdy with it.
Rock and roll Robo! Thank you for sharing this. Seeing your manic customizing gives me comfort to my own addiction.
Haha, things start moving fast, I add, take away, add, takeaway, paint a line, repaint the sides to straighten it out, paint it again. I'm back and forth the more intense it is.
I've had quite a shitty week but this video was like a therapy session for me. Thanks, uncle Robo! ❤😊
P.S. that Heath Ledger's Joker impersonation was spot on 😅😂
More Play Days like this, please!❤
Man this video give me some Bob Ross vibes I LOVE IT its so relaxing watching you paint !
Robo, the action figure Bob Ross
Check your Walmarts! Many stores have Black Krrsantan going on clearance for $13!
Love this video, I just picked up another Krrsantan for $13 last night at Walmart
Perfect timing
Keep making these kind of videos. You are terrific!!!
Thanks, I enjoyed making it!
I also kicked out the spacers on the butterfly joints. makes him really so much more poseable. might try to paint that scars too, but don't see me do the dremeling work. I became a little bit more cautios now, after ruining a perfect good glavis mando helmet while trying to dremel it out to turn it into a removable one.
This new form is definitely a hit, watching this in depth style video makes me hope there’s another one coming soon of this style
When the opportunity strikes, I'll do it again. Was fun documenting the process.
Recommendation too - if you get a really decent fine detail brush, get some The Master's Brush Soap too. You can clean your brush normally, but then use that stuff and find all sorts of rubbish coming out of a brush which looked clean!
Great video, Robo! Glad to see other people use sharp objects to remove paint and it's not just me, haha.
To be fair, that exacto didn't have a sharp point, that snapped a long time ago so I like using it to scrape little paint flecks off without digging into the plastic. But yeah, that's my method too, haha!
Come on. Just two Krrsantan’s? I’m going to remove the spacer and I do want his scars painted. Dremeling the joints? I’m happy with what I have now. Yeah I should just buy another and mod. I think I missed the Target sales. Good video. Reminds me of the model building days. So relaxing and ended up with some great supplemental pieces to the collection.
Okay....I may have one or two more, but those are for different places in the house, haha.
Cool stuff, thanks! Might at the very least take those spacers off!
It's so easy, do it!
Great mod! Krrsantan has been showing up on clearance at a lot of Walmarts in my area. I might have to pick one up and try my hand at this.
Great work! Thanks for the showing off the process. Color me inspired. Cheers!
thanks for showing your process, robo!
Someone needs to take Black Series Wookiee and Krrsantan figures away from Robo. The man can't stop messing with them 😂😂
In all seriousness, though, this looks great! I especially love what you did with Krrsantan's scars!
With my one after having it in boiling water for a few seconds the elbows could bend the bits of fur out of the way then ran it under the cold tap while I was still holding it bent. Now I have a bit more movement in the elbows
Hey where my heavy metal Dremeling *Music* at man? This was frankly outputting!
There was too much dremeling and heat gunning!
Thanks so much Robo! This was a great video. Really enjoyed it.
I'm here only for the Bob Ross impression
Awesome video, sir! These kinds of videos helped me get over the fear/nervousness of trying to modify my own.
Just start small, on something you don't have a lot of attachment to, something you don't mind messing up, and then go from there. You'll be just fine.
That scar looks perfect dude. Well done
It's not a Play Day if Krrsantan isn't in it.
Heh, he has shown up quite a bit, hasn't he?
You are a scholar, sir
Thank you for making this video ROBO!! Love watching more customization!
Make more of these Robo! this is awesome!
Great video Robo!
This is going to be like a foundational toy customizing video for people getting into it. Awesome job, Robo.
I need to do smaller snippets of just the basics, each individually. Maybe as shorts or reels?
15:20 too true, that's how I've managed to keep Bib Fortuna standing on my shelf.
Great video as always, brought me back to earlier in the week when I was repainting the masked Deadpool head from the Marvel Legends Deadpool/Hydra Bob set I recently picked up, the right eye was okay but the left totally missed the sculpt. It's been a few years since I've done any painting and even with something that simple I realised quickly that I was severely out of practice, but it was such a relief once it was done to have something that looked so much better than it initially did.
Cool now I want one. Dang It!
It’s happening…….!!!!!!
I will never forget that filthy move they made to grav cash by painting an old chewbaca sculpt black and calling it krrsantan!!! 😂😂😂
Bruh Krrsantan for you is like the werewolf custom I did for me: Can't ever just leave it alone (working on it's too much fun)
I know I haven’t been following you as long as many others, but have you ever done a video where you “document” the nitty and gritty of the customization as much as this?
Cool stuff and you’ve got me tempted to try it.
Not like this, I've never had the space or the proper setup for this kind of thing.
@@RoboDontKnow Well.... hope we get more like it! Seeing the process at work makes a big difference.
Great job! The improvements are fantastic. Thanks for sharing!
This is an awesome intro to customizing especially for someone like me who gets scared of damaging or ruining a figure. This honestly gives me some confidence to pull the trigger on a few idea. What brand of magnifiers are those at 13:49? Been needing a new pair, and these ones look pretty nice! Looking forward to the next “Customizers’ Corner with Robo!”
Fantastic work, it looks excellent! Will be doing this to mine, once it arrives 🙌
This was so good.
Thanks for this video. I needed to see it to have confidence to start modifying some of my figures.
Just jump in and go for it, you' be just fine!
My local Walmart put the Krrsantan’s on sale for 13 a piece recently. Not all Walmart’s are the same but I would check yours guy’s if anymore needs more of them.
Thank you robo for the vid it was very helpful
Dude! It totally looked like you were going to put the blow dryer in the water with the wookie in it.
Haha, when I was editing I thought "Wow, what if I dropped that plugged in heat gun into the water, that woulda sucked..."
They price dropped him again at walmart, so guess I need a 2nd one.
Awesome video Robo! Thanks for sharing. I wish I wasn't tied to my desk today... I wanna play too!
Haha, the desk is the perfect place to play!
This was awesome, thanks for sharing! When is the toy-shed-man-cave-robo-hideout tour?
Awesome work Robo,
Just did the OOTB method for my Krrsantan as well, didn’t even have to heat the arms to pull them off! Removed the spacers, put the arms back, easy peasy!
Also question for ya Robo: what Dremel do you recommend? Never purchased one before so I’m kinda lost on what to get.
Not sure if I left it in but I mentioned having that dremel for going on 20 years now, if not more, so I haven't seen what's out there currently. I like a cord so I don't have to worry about batteries or charging, but it also gets in the way sometimes. Don't start too fancy and go from there, see what you like.
This is awesome. I’m really loving it. Looking forward to more tutorials for you!
💯, A+, two thumbs up, and 500 points to Hufflepuff! (Yes, we know you’re a Hufflepuff)
Great video as always! I need to get thia fella on clearance.
not a play day, but a play time!
Oooo, that's a good idea, to differentiate between the two.
New segment…. DIY with Robo!
Against the mic...roboSMR! 🤫
Yay Day!
The same shoulder spacer decision was made with the Classified Series Mole Rat and I ended up removing them while I was using one for a custom I'm still working on. Why they would use those spacers, instead of just doing the actual butterfly joints, I won't ever understand. Especially when the rest of the line uses actual butterflies, already.
A lot of imports do it the same way but leave more room for that cup piece to move. Where it's less a spacer and more a gap filler when the peg shifts.
Robo did you watch x-men 97? You should take about how u think it is in your next x men review, that last episode had me in tears man
I did! I just rambled about it for this weekend's Rewind!
Cool play day. Do the ML No Way Home Tom Holland mod next.
What is the ML No Way Home Tom Holland mod?
@@RoboDontKnow I saw someone pop the arms and trim a nub of plastic off the ball joint for extended butterfly range. It may be on CZcams already. but we want to see you do it!
That shitty brush! I've got one exactly like that and I hate it. But I keep on using it 🤣
Haha, it's for slappy paint jobs! And of course I put it right back in the pile after using it this time, to use again in the future.
😎😎😎Robo Do Knows😎😎😎
TRUE STORY: I was trying to customize a Jakks Pacific Rock figure, using my Dremel a hot piece of plastic flew up, went behind my glasses and burned my eye lid. Wear protection kids.
So plz make me understand why there is no more The FWOOSH
Thanks for doing this! You 100% sold me on buying BK. Finished my modifications today and he's perfect.
Nice! Yeah, a little light elbow grease and it goes from good to great!
Can’t have the wet teeth 🤣🤣🤣
I think you have 4 to 5 BK's right?
Counting customs....probably.
Great video, would you like to review our lightsaber?😃
Nice but can we get a flocking tutorial? I bet he would look great covered in stiff little hairs.
I think you missed the step where you flock the figure 🤣 jk jk
NOOOOOOOOOOO!
does anyone know what happened to the fwoosh channel?
He had gotten to the retirement age and decided to hand the fwoosh company over to someone close, I know he talked about it on one of his final videos of the channel (I think it was on the weekly)
@@legoben98productions Oh no kidding I didn't know
💜💜💜💜💜😱😱😱😱😱💜💜💜💜💜
What if you are in your 40s and still use your "young pupils" as eye protection 🙈
Habro should hire Robo 🙏🙏🙏
I offer a special custom of this wookie on my site ' flock , flock, flock r' us flock u' specializing in flocking this one to look as good as the motu 'flocked' beast man. But you'll have to catch me next weekend. Because besides marvelous custom work, we specialize in women's apparel, bowling apparel, bait and tackle. And this weekend is a poker run😛

Gratuitous generic comment.
Gracious obligatory reply!
Play Day should be more like this it was very interesting
Well, I guess I’m taking my Krrsantan under the knife. That turned out great! The scar treatment made all the difference to that head sculpt too.
That scar worked out way better than I was hoping for. A slight moment of "what did I do?" followed by "okay, that's better."
love it and is itching me closer to getting a dremel
From one old guy to another... PUT SOME DAMN GLOVES ON WHEN YOUR DREMMELING LIKE THAT, TOO! I'm just sitting here going "Please don't slip, please don't slip. please don't slip"...
I was thinking the same thing.
Yeah, one little slip and you take off a chunk of your fingers
Hate to correct anyone, but as this is about safety.. It is actually far safer to not use gloves when dealing with machines/tools that spin. They have a tendency to grab the glove and cause far more damage to your hand. So, no gloves, roll up your sleeves and watch that beard! All of these can easily get caught up and will cause far more damage than the little burr he is using touching your hand😊
From experience I’d rather have a tiny cut on my hand, than the glove getting stuck in the dremel and ripping my hand flesh off . Eye protection is more impertinent imo
