Definitely missing the Watchalongs! Such a great addition to the podcast. Loved to follow your commentary and insights.
Returning to Eurosport coms really made me miss the watch alongs
Totally! Although I like the german comms as well, don't know about the english ones though. We got Jens Voigt back from the motorbike and at ze commentators again 😅
Pog looked like he was on a zone 3 training ride up that last hill!
Jokes on you, zone 3 is officially deprecated and should be avoided at all times with polarised training. Instant detraining for pogi confirmed
washed
@@PHHE1oh that is good.
I started off following this podcast for the cycling, now I am not sure whether I watch more for the cycling or because of you guys
Bardet said after the race that he didn't have good legs today (due to the rest Day), and his second place and time gaining was a good confluence of circumstances and a surprise for him. That is why he anticipates with that small group.
He had the legs to follow, but not to accelerate that much.
Love the pod! Did I imagine the dog nearly wiping out the entire huge breakaway group?
Patrick and Benji have the best race analysis! Love you guys.
finally checked out Join cycling...pretty cool! excited to try it out and help support the channel
You guys should really start adding the lanterne rouge category (last place) in your picks before grand tours!! :)
In the Flobikes interview with Tratnik, Tratnik said Pogacar was also sick, so he's not riding at 100%
There has been lots of elbow bumping in the sprints up to now. Since covid, we all sneeze in the elbows. So if one sprinter comes down with the flue, they are all gone quicker than pogi.
Enjoyed so much Benji not knowing which way West was…completely saved his professionalness points back though handling the Ethernet drop out. 5 star handling
“You need your tuggers!” I see another t-shirt coming!
Benji handled that like a pro 💪🏻
Krieger also dropped out on stage 9 due to a very nasty crash, unfortunately. Wasn't really shown on the cameras.
Benji must be smoking weed to say that the Prati di Tivo stage was better than this stage!! 🤪
I'm fully with Patrick on this one 🙂
Prato di Tivo was indeed quite boring, give me these nice breakaways any time of day instead of a boring group with GC riders that will not do anything... Pogacar does not need to do anything, and the others can't.
plapp arrived in the gruppetto 3rd day in a row. do u think he’s like sick or cooked himself with gravel + tt back to back monster performances?
Nope just team orders... today was Zana's turn to try it with help of De Marchi and Hamilton... Plapp was already at the back of the peloton at km zero, but he's just saving energy... The next few days there is nothing to gain for him.. thus he can save energy for the ITT from Saturday and the stages after that. He's not racing for any classification and his only goal is to try to win a stage...
This morning in the pre-race interview he was fine, and he looked fine during the race too......
But never say never... 😉✌
@@swissbiggy i guess it makes sense to save himself after losing so much time but i was under the impression he would try to test himself for gc in 3 weeks even without obligation to do so. i found very strange his collapse on prati di tivo, i can’t believe the team would tell him or he would chose to lose 20 minutes wearing the white jersey and in the top 5, even if winning a stage was already the priority
@@SamuelSilva-bb9pd They mentioned it straight away, that Plapp would only wear the white jersey for one day...
And before the start of the Giro was already decided that Plapp was only here to go for stages... And you do not suddenly change plans with riders that are young...
Thus it is en was no surprise... But I am fine with him losing time to go for stages.... Let him first learn and make fun.
I think Bardet actually wanted the stage most, based on the interview after. He just didn't have as good legs as VPP.
Ethernet-ing Trainingplan has to be added to JOIN for PAtrick.

I'm sorry, but I have to tell you: calling them the "PP" brothers is funny, because in French "pipi" is a child's word for pee... 😅😂😂
Same in English 😂

nooo, there goes my podium. after evenepoel last year, this time uitdebroeks needs to leave the giro with a virus. giro not smiling on the belgians last couple of years.
The reason that honore has been invicible is becuse he broke a rib on stage 7 or 8
Starlink from Elon Musk is what you need, works great in mountainous areas I here
