@@BassiReacts pick anything, even interviews, you can't go wrong. a lot of reactors miss her official 'live with aurora' live streams from her home (in fact, none reacted to these and i wonder why). she introduced herself and some of her important songs in a very natural way. the quality is questionable but it is genuinely aurora.

I am sooo happy you found Aurora! She is a big artist from Norway and is very loved all over the world. She is maybe the most authentic artist you will ever see in the music industry. She is just amazing. Her songs are never meaningless. She writes her songs mostly all alone, she produces them herself, makes the music videoes herself with others ofc but it is always through her eyes. Her art is based on her thought with input from others. She is soo free and so human she is never ashamed of being herself and its lovely to watch and so inspiring. I really really think she is sent to earth just to heal people. She said in a interview that she realises her songs when she feel the world (us) need it the most. So some of her songs is realised years after she made it.
When you check out more of her live performances you can see how she dances on the beat (very good dancer) she express herself so beautifuly, it is like art being made on the stage and it is done differently everytime so the live performances is not boring if you see it in different concerts. When she is on stage she also like to look at the publicum while singing.
The music she makes is art. It can't be described you just have to see the documentary "once Aurora" to understand.
She is very different from other artists well mostly because she will never make meaningless music about " being out all night f****g ect" , she stands for something and is not afraid to share it and she does it in her songs and spread it out to the world with no fear. She fights for the clima crisis, racism, against conversion therapy, fighting for the LGBTQIA+ community, normalises sexsuality ect,, its so much it would be a bible if i continue!!
She is just amazing and so pure, I think she really can save us all with her mind and music. She changed my life! 💗

Aurora was 22 (close to 23) in this video, and she is 27 now (and 28 in June 2024). She is The Voice in Disney's Frozen 2 calling to Elsa.
She writes all her music and lyrics, and has released 3 albums and 2 EPs, and her 4th album will be released June 7th 2024.
She is also the "master of covers" with that Rasputin cover you saw being one of them, and she often changes the song completely to her style, but still recognizable. Rasputin and 3 other covers during the years, she did on this Norwegian radio station P3, where they let artists perform a cover with limited rehearsal at the studio, they chose the song from at list in the studio, and did not prepare from home. In the Rasputin cover Aurora replied in the youtube comments afterwards, that they only rehearsed for ~15min.

David Bowie - Life On Mars (Channel NRK), Massive Attack - Teardrop (Channel triplej), The Beatles - Across The Universe (Channel triplej), Oasis - Half The World Away (at the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert), Harry Styles - Golden etc. etc.
The 3 others she did on the P3 radio station with limited preparation: Ariana Grande - God Is A Woman, Imagine Dragons - Believer, Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball (Aurora was 17, 2 months after being "discovered").

Aurora is an incredible artist. By the way, she can also be funny and lively, and her lyrics always have depth.
An example of "lively" is the song "Cure For Me" (official video). Her "Like a Version (australian radio)" performance with the Beatles cover "'Across The Universe' for Like A Version" is also highly recommended. The song “Queendom” (official video) is also very nice. The list could be extended indefinitely ;-)

You found a real gem and true Artist. She has a lot of great music with a lot of variation. even her covers made in very short time (often her covers was made within a 1 hour as a challenge - this boney M cover you mentioned was rehearsed 15 minutes [based on Aurora post) and whole making was shorter then 1h. For sure it is worth to check much more of her music. Thank you for a reaction!

Ah, Aurora is the perfect way to equilibrate a daily soundscape full of powerful dBs, heavy drums and energetic guitars. Another way to be "thunderstruck" as long as her voice flows, I would say... much lighter and more delicate, but certainly not less intense in her own way. . Personally, her live performances just softly melt my brain. She's extremely creative, and her musical palette is as large as her music is, as you saw here, gorgeous. She writes her lyrics, her music, and coproduces her albums in studio.
Her covers are a good exemple of her many bursts of inspiration, Rasputin would be an excellent idea. Or "Life on Mars" from David Bowie, or "God is a woman" from Ariana Grande, in exemples among many others. Her own original repertoire is even richer.
