Why apologize i don't see the nation of lgbtq on the world map so i don't see why that flag would be up with other flags from around the world
This happened at my high school after I graduated. I personally know the kid who cut the flag down. The Sheriff's Office had to watch his home for a few days because both him and his family were receiving so many death threats. It was wild.
I have so much respect for this kid. Someone went as far as covering a whole country's flag just to put the pride flag. Yes, they deserve to be respected for who they are, but as a Cuban myself, it hit hard knowing people are willing to just put us aside just to recognize others. It's amazing that they're supporting the LGBTQ+ community, but don't take away someone else's inclusion. After all, isn't that what pride month is for?
