I'm always confused when you see someone like Black who 100% benefits from you going to war with Yellow and then he breaks and betrays you one or two turns too soon. If he would have just chilled and waited it could have been a 2 player game 45 min sooner. Instead it fucks your game, you can't kill yellow, and 45 min later he's fighting yellow while you get big. So dumb.

I just wanna say.
It should not be cheating. I know, quite the weird stance.
But SMG made it possible to do exactly that. So I don't think it should be considered cheating if people utilize the tools available to them. Even if the players feels like SMG shouldn't have done that.
To be clear. I want that to be impossible. But if it is something SMG makes possible, without altering the code of the game, then it is not cheating. Period. It's just playing the game exactly how the devs made it.

Assuming I understand "fake botting" to mean using your turn to 'behave' like a bot. Whereas using the "botting exploit" is to close out the game on purpose to actually become a bot and come back later to win.
The latter is intentionally abusing the game's lenient system for disconnects-an exploit. But I'm not convinced the former should be considered cheating.
I personally don't do it as I would rather just lose and start up another game. I'm playing for fun, and it's not a fun tactic to me. Especially since it only works on newer players.
But I don't think it should be considered cheating. If SMG disagrees, then they should fix it. Don't let players rejoin games. If you disconnect for more than 1 round, it's not counted against your rating but you can't rejoin. And if you disconnect regularly, you shouldn't be allowed to play ranked in the first place.
One might be able to argue it's considered stalling... but even then, if it's the best strategy to win how can that be cheating?
