Personal decentralized web site

  • Every User has a personal decentralized web site located in:
    c:\dweb\dwsite (Windows)
    /Users/Shared/dweb/dwsite (Mac OS)
    ~/dweb/dwsite (Linux)
    User in Linux, ID: paa123456@yahoo.com
    Click on image, then click on [menu]
    Brings up browser tab with settings menu
    Click on 'Local site'
    Or type and load in browser this URL: localhost:1248
    This is the look of the default/initial personal decentralized site
    Bring up File manager, go to - 'dweb/dwsite' folder,
    Rename 'index.html' to 'index-org.html'
    Open text editor, type and then save as 'index.html' (add brackets)-
    html body
    h1 My decentralized web site - John Johnson /h1
    /body /html
    The saved 'index.html' will form the new/updated site
    In browser, go to [menu] tab, click on 'Local site'
    This brings up the new/updated local site
    This user has a bridge/node with its own site
    Click on 'Bridge site'
    User program and personal site are temporary
    Turn-off WiFi or close laptop lid and site disappears
    If you-User also run a bridge/node you can transfer it
    Next - User transferring local site to bridge
    Select the browser tab with User settings menu
    Click on 'Transfer' to copy local site to bridge
    Go back to settings menu
    Click on 'Bridge site' show updated bridge site
    Decentralized web sites are available worldwide
    The next part shows another User who has
    User: paa123456@yahoo.com as a contact
    and brings up the updated site of User: 'paa...'
    User on Windows, ID: paul.arssov@sbcglobsl.net
    Click on image, then click on 'Contacts'
    Verify as a contact User: paa123456@yahoo.com
    Click 'cancel' then click on [menu]
    In browser settings menu click on 'Contacts'
    Click on link of contact 'paa...' see their site
    Another way of loading other User's site
    In browser type - localhost:1248/paa123456@yahoo.com
