I have a similar range and when I turn on any burner a loud fan sound happens. It goes off when I turn the burner off. I can feel air being blown out the front of the range under the burners. Any idea how to access that fan, or what could be happening? Thank you so much! This was a great and helpful video.
As much as it sucks, that is normal operation of this model. I think it is a bit ridiculous though as 99% of electric ranges only run the cooling fan when the oven is on and not while just the stovetop is on.
I have one exactly like this. All the burners stopped at once. But when you turn them on there's power because it lights up. But all the burners don't come on. Any ideas.
@@kyrryl you have to take off a lot of screws! I took off more than 20 to get to the point where I filmed the video. I don't remember if you have to take off the top burner glass in order to get the front control panel off but you might
I hope that doesn't happen to mine. I wonder if it's the same melting plastic electrical connector problem I had on mine. If you have a screwdriver you can take it apart and check it out. Get a cup to put the 20 accessories in
@@MarshallBLewis I know what's wrong with the stove.... The safety switch in the center of the burner is bad on both burners... I've tried fixing it but it's sealed...
I agree with you it since I did not start filming at the beginning and make a step-by-step how to remove every screw to take apart the range type video. Not every piece of information is applicable to everyone's situation in a lot of videos so I'm constantly using the double tap to the right on the video screen feature that CZcams has to skip 10 or more seconds at a time when I'm watching others videos. Around the 3:15 mark, I show that the problem was a burned electrical connector attached to the non working element. The problem was very obvious once I took apart the stove and inspected it. I posted the video thinking it might help some people who also have a non working element to look and see if there's any melted electrical connections

Is there an error code on the display?
I have that exact issue now. Did you fix it?
How did you take off the control panel?

I have a similar problem turn on oven I would come on but does not Heat Oven comes on does not heat
Thats a different issue than this video
yup
Every problem has an underlying issue. So why did it melt in the first place?
Good question. My guess is the type/ amount/ location of the plastic on the electrical connection is the problem.
@@MarshallBLewis Did you give the wire a pull. Could have been a bad connection caused it to overheat.
I have a Frigidaire stove that is only 2 years old and both large burners have stopped working....THIS STOVE IS JUNK !!!

You jump all over the place. I watched for two minutes and gave up. You really need to learn how to give a presentation.

It's a free help video, get over it
